The Second Child

The sky was already dark, but Jesselyn was still standing on the porch of her house, looking at the house next to her residence, waiting for Reza's return.

"Hey, New Neighbor Sister!" Gritte who just got home waved to Jesselyn.

Jesselyn responded with a wave and a small smile.

"Waiting for Mas Reza, huh?" muttered the twenty-year-old girl.

Jesselyn's cheeks immediately turned bright red. "Eng..no, really," he replied.

Gritte just giggled to himself. "Mas Reza, if he comes home for a long time, it means there is a night meeting, sis. At least we'll be back at eight or ten," said Gritte.

“Oh, I see,” Jesselyn whispered.

Gritte laughed again seeing the disappointment bias from his new neighbor's eyes. "I'll go first, sis!" Gritte disappeared behind the door of his house.

Jesselyn exhaled. Maybe that night wasn't the right time to talk to Reza. Even if Reza comes home in two or three hours, the man will come home tired. Jesselyn was becoming increasingly unpleasant to interrupt.
