Chapter 73 A New Mob

Newton sat at the head of the conference table in a dimly lit room. His mob leaders sat around him, their expressions serious and expectant.

"Gentlemen," Newton began in a deep, commanding voice, "we will have our hands full."

The room fell silent as all eyes turned to him.

Newton continued. "You remember the meeting we had three days ago, where I said I will make my findings on the person who was responsible for Mr. Alfred's death? Remember I suspected the Bagwells?"

The men took off their hats, their expressions grave, "You did mention it, Boss"

Newton slowly nodded "Yes. Well, it was the Bagwells. It turns out that their Boss carried out the act himself"

A murmur of discontent rippled through the room. Newton raised a hand to silence them.

"We cannot allow him to do as he pleases," he said firmly. "Our reputation and pride are at stake here. We need to take swift and decisive action to make sure they pay for the crime against us. Even if they are the Bagwells"
