Chapter Fifty-five

Finding Gabe's house wasn't a problem. They just had to ask Lana for it. Even though she wondered why they asked, she told them.

So, that same Thursday, at night, Dalton parked a black Toyota Corolla near the building next to Gabe's house.

Brian examined the neighborhood. The area was secluded from the highway so it was quiet. Only the chirping of crickets from the bushes could be heard. The neighborhood gave a haunted vibe.

"Good. Let's do this." Brian said.

They emerged from the car. They were all dressed in black turtlenecks, black elastic pants, black boots, and black beanies. The black contrasted with the darkness, so it was difficult to spot them in the dark.

Two Gray Guardians, which Brian brought to help, came out of the car behind them.

Brian took the lead. He walked cautiously towards Gabe's bungalow front door. As expected, the front door was locked. Gabe and his friends weren't home.
