Chapter Fifty-seven
That same day, at nine o'clock, the black Corolla parked in front of Gabe's house again with another car trailing behind. Once the car had been parked, they emerged from it.

Just like the previous day, they were dressed in black turtlenecks, black jeans, black boots, and black beanies. It felt like a deja vu.

But unlike the previous day, two Nightbirds and two Butterflies followed them this time, no Gray Guardians.

The Butterflies were dressed in their uniform – an overall tight-fitting leather suit while the Nightbirds were dressed like the rest of them. Brian tried his best to avoid looking at their curvy bodies for too long.

"You two, stay here and keep watch. Alert us if any emergency comes up." Brian ordered the two Nightbirds with authority, which they bowed to.

They proceeded to the front door. Brian didn't bother checking whether anyone was home or not. If anyone was at home, it's not like they can do anything to stop them.
