Melanie and Charlene's jaw dropped. Charlene glanced at Brian and Melanie and covered her mouth, holding a squeal. Melanie was speechless as she stared at the rose in Brian's hand. Brian was nervous. "I thought...I thought you weren't going to the dance." Melanie stuttered, still staring at the rose. Brian shrugged. "Had a change of mind." Melanie looked at Brian with her brow raised. "Awn, this is so sweet, Brian," Charlene said with a dreamy face and placed her hand on her chest. "You like Melanie?" Brian's eyes widened. He nearly dropped the rose. "No..." he cleared his throat. "Let's not misunderstand things. I don't have that kind of feeling for her. I just need a date to go with to the ball." Charlene narrowed her eyes and looked at Melanie and Brian. "Yep, definitely like her." "Charlene," Brian protested, his cheeks flushing red. "Awn, he's blushing." Charlene teased more, causing Brian to blush more. "Brian is in love." Melanie rolled her eyes. "Stop being such
Brian called out to her. "Hello, Alexia." Alexia looked back when she heard someone call her name. She scowled upon seeing Brian and hissed. "Here I was thinking it was someone better calling me. What are you doing here? This is a female section." "Shopping for my date if you must know," Brian replied. He faced the sales lady that followed him. "I would like to buy that gown." He pointed at the black gown. "Too bad. I'm about to pay for it." "Well, I want it." "Are you deaf? I said I'm about to pay for it." "But you haven't paid yet. So, I want it." "I asked for it first." She faced the sales lady beside her. "Here is my card." She handed her a black card. The second sales lady's eyes widened at the sight of the card. "I'll pay double the price for the gown," Brian said and brought out his black card. Both sales lady mouths hung open. They knew now that they weren't dealing with ordinary people. "Uhm..." The second sales lady hummed, not knowing what to do. "I'll pay trip
"Are you insane?" Alexia screamed and pushed Raymond away. "Let me have sex with you, then you'll get the money," Raymond growled. He tried to touch her again but Alexia slapped his hand. "I've told you before Raymond. I'm not ready for that yet." "When will you be ready, Alexia? When?" Raymond yelled. "Why do you care about sex so much?" "Because I have needs. Do you want to know what I was doing? I was jerking off because I haven't fucked for weeks. Isn't that your job as my girlfriend? To satisfy my needs?" Alexia scoffed. "What do you think I am? A sex machine? We aren't even married for crying out loud." "Bullshit." Raymond stomped his feet. Alexis sighed. She went closer to him and traced her finger on his forehead. "Ray, I understand you have needs. But I'm not ready yet. When I am ready, you can use me as you like OK?" She tickled the back of his ear. Raymond closed his eyes, enjoying the tickling. "Promise?" "Promise. Now, will you give me that money?" "Of cours
Even from the parking lot, you could immediately hear the music coming from the hall and could see students entering the school in black or purple formal ball dressings – tuxedos for males, ball gowns and tiaras for females – or semi-formal clothes. Several days had passed until the night of the Annual Ball. The students took the path to Dolly Hall where there was a queue at the entrance. To make the ball fair, only students who donated at least sixty dollars were allowed to enter. To prevent unwanted entry, a red velvet rope was attached to both sides of the doorway, creating an obstruction. Once you've checked, the velvet rope would be removed for the student or couple to enter. The hall was decorated beautifully by the committee. Glass tables and seats were arranged orderly around the dance floor. An amphitheater where a DJ blasted music in the air was placed at the front wall, facing everyone. There was joy in the air. Students were seated, talking excitedly among themselve
"Charlene," Dalton called as he drew closer to the parking lot where Charlene stood. Charlene crossed her arms and glared at him. "What took you so long?" Dalton scratched his head, looking guilty. "I was delayed at work, so by the time I got ready, it was late. My motorcycle tyres went flat and I had a hard time finding a taxi so...I'm sorry." "You could have called me or something." "My phone died. Sorry. I'm the worst date ever, right?" "No no. Of course not. Just be careful next time." "Advice taken, madam." Dalton bowed curtly. Charlene laughed. "Wow, you look so beautiful." complimented Dalton. They both decided to wear semi-formal clothes to the ball. Charlene wore a purple sparkly jacket on a white sleeveless shirt and a black pleated skirt with pink sneakers. "Thanks. You look cuter tonight." Dalton's face flushed. He wore a black leather jacket on a blue shirt, with blue jeans and blue sneakers. His hair seemed to have become redder and fluffier. "I like your

Melanie laughed again unable to tell if Alexia was lying or serious. Had she gone stupid and fallen in love with Raymond or was she just pretending? But before she could ask, Brian and Raymond arrived at the table."What's funny?" inquired Brian.Trying to suppress her laughter, Melanie replied. "Alexia was just telling me a joke."Alexia gritted her teeth.Brian and Raymond had the same look of confusion on their faces. Since when did they start bonding?"Anyway, where is my food?" Melanie asked after her laughter died down.Brian's eyes widened. He hit his palm on his forehead. "Dang it. I knew I was forgetting something."The bet he made with Raymond caused him to forget the reason why he was there in the first place. Melanie crossed her arms. "What have you been doing all this while?""Hey, Alexia. Wanna dance?" Raymond asked."Yes." Alexia, who was grateful for the opportunity to leave, got up and took Raymond's hand. Together, they stepped away from the exclusive table.Brian
Gabe tightened his grip and pushed Brian's hand downwards. His biceps popped out his short sleeve.Brian applied the same amount of force in pushing Gabe's hand, resting his hips on the table."Gabe! Gabe!! Gabe!!!" cheered the students around supporting Gabe. But it was obvious they were evenly matched because their arms kept moving back and forth after a minute.Gabe frowned. Since when did Brian become this strong? He thought he would have won under thirty seconds. Turns out he was wrong. But that doesn't mean Brian was stronger. He added more force to his push. "Getting tired, already?" Brian scorned. Gabe grunted and pushed harder. His muscles popped stronger.Brian chuckled. He squeezed his hand around Gabe's knuckles and wriggled his palms, wriggling his knuckles too.Gabe hissed, feeling the joints of his knuckles crack. The distraction was enough for Brian to suddenly apply a large amount of force and pin Gabe's hand on the table."Whooo," the student cheered and clapped.
