Walking back into the building, All eyes were fixated on them. It was a clear representation of Word and Opposite.
The Old Man had on a very expensive and exquisite Armani suit. Only 3 of it were made in the whole world. Ethan on the other hand looked unkept and rough all over. They were a classic representation of two different worlds.
The pair arrived at the top floor and stood in front of a giant door.
"We're here." The Old Man said as he pushed the door opened.
"What the.." Ethan couldn't bring himself to complete the sentence as the door swung open and the scent of aged leather and polished mahogany wafts through the air.
Stepping into the CEO's office, Ethan's mouth fell wide open with awe.
Inside the CEO's office is a masterpiece of modern decadence. Walls of floor-to-ceiling windows offer panoramic views of the city below, a constant reminder of the empire they command.
The floors, adorned with plush Persian rugs, absorb the echoes of footsteps with luxurious silence.
Ethan couldn't believe his eyes. The size of the Office was big enough to fit two large living rooms in it.
A massive oak desk, meticulously crafted by master artisans, dominates the room. On its polished surface, a plethora of gleaming gadgets and cutting-edge technology coexist with antique heirlooms, each telling a story of success and conquest.
Behind the desk, an overstuffed leather armchair beckons like a throne, fit for a titan of industry.
Rare books, priceless artworks, and exotic artifacts from every corner of the globe mingle together on a tall shelf in harmonious chaos, reflecting the breadth of their achievements.
Everything Ethan looked upon was out of this world. He had only heard about offices like this, but to be inside one was a completely different thing.
"Wow." Ethan exclaimed under his breath as he gave himself a tour of the magnificent office. He was completely lost in this new world.
The ambiance exuded an aura of power, wealth, and unwavering confidence. It's a space where deals are struck, destinies are shaped, and the dreams of a visionary come to life. It was the Inner Sanctum of a powerful CEO.
"It's breathtaking isn't it?" The Old Man asked Ethan who wasn't paying attention anymore. "It's all yours." He added.
As if snapped out of a trance, Ethan turned to face The Old Man instantly.
Taking a look round to see what The Old Man called his.
"ALL of it." The Old Man emphasized. "And even many more." He added.
Taking a few seconds to pause, Ethan heaved a sigh, "who exactly am I?" He asked. It was time to put an end to the unanswered questions bothering him.
"You're Ethan Anderson, Heir to the Biggest Consortium in the whole world." The Old man began. "Majestic Skies Building is just one of the many company under your control." He added.
"The Anderson family is one of the Super Families, if not number one." The old man continued. "And you, young Master, are the next in line to lead House Anderson to greater heights."
Ethan took it all in. At this point, it was more likely for all this to be true than a lie. He wasn't cursed after all. But how?
"Come, let me show you something." The Old Man beckoned. "Look at this." He stated, pointing to an article displayed on the laptop on the desk.
Ethan gasped as he read the title of the article. "House Anderson, The multi-trillion family."
"You, young Master are a trillionare."
"I'm a trillionare. I'm a trillionare." Ethan repeated to himself, trying to let it sink in.
"That's not all young Master." The Old Man interrupted. "Starting tomorrow, the position of CEO rests back on you." He added.
"Me? What about you?" Ethan asked with concern. He couldn't bear being the reason why an aged man would loose his means of livelihood.
"Don't worry about me young Master." The Old Man assured with a smile. "The position was never mine to begin with. I only filled it in your stead till we found you. And now we have. It's only right for you to take over what is rightfully yours." He explained with a proud smile.
"So what happens to you now?" Ethan asked, still concerned.
"Now I retire back and be with my family." The Old man answered, taking away Ethan's fear.
"If all these are true, I'll still need you for help. I don't know how to navigate all these." Ethan confessed.
"I'm always available when you need me. And so is the whole Anderson Family. You are our future leader after all. Our services belong to you."
"Alright then." Ethan beamed a smile of relief.
"On to the next thing." The Old man said as he pulled out the drawer at the lower section of the desk. "Here." The Old Man pointed a gold key to Ethan. "This is the key to your new house." The old man said, handling over the key to Ethan.
"Why don't you go there and see if it is to your liking." Encouraged the Old Man.
"Alright." Was all Ethan could say.

Back at the outside premise of the building, Ethan stood at the roadside completely lost in thought. Staring at the keys in his hand, he began to replay all that had happened inside the building.
The road was extremely busy with different cars moving to and fro. All going about their day's work. The road was where all manners of cars met. The latest version of the G-WAGON, down to the worn out taxi all crossed paths on the busy road.
Yesterday Ethan was a poor loser in serious debt who had everything going hard for him but now he was a trillionare?
Ethan struggled to accept the truth but the keys in his hands were an attestation of the truth.
"Taxi!" Ethan raised his hand to flag down the yellow coloured vehicle approaching him.
"Luxuria Paradise." Ethan told the cab man as he settled into the back seat of the taxi. The anticipation in Ethan knew no bounds.
***
Ten minutes passed and the taxi pulled over a couple of distance away from the estate gate.
"This is as far as we go." The cab man explained.
"No problem." Ethan said as he paid and got down from the taxi.
The taxi drove away while Ethan stood there for a few seconds.
"Wow" Ethan exclaimed. He had heard of Luxuria Paradise before but he had never been there. The estate was well guarded with security guards patrolling every area of the Estate. State of the art security cameras were also placed at strategic places.
This was the abode of the Elite, the residence of the wealthy, the resting place of the great. Even from a distance outside, it's beauty could be seen. It was truly a paradise.
"Stop right there!" A baritone voice yelled as Ethan got near the gate. "You must be lost young man." The security guard said. "Turn around and leave."
"No actually, I uhm live here." Ethan explained.
"Yo Shawn, come look at this." The guard beckoned to his teammate. "This joker here says he lives here." He said.
As if planned, they both burst into laughter at the same time, hands on their stomach with tears almost coming out of their eyes due to the laughter.
"Listen young man, everyone who lives here has more than 5 luxury cars, and are multibillionares." The other guard said as the laughing died down.
"Gentlemen, I do live here. Here, look." Ethan said, bringing out the key he was given.
Seeing the key, the guards burst into another round of laughter.
"No one uses keys in this Estate buddy. It's either Fingerprint or Face Recognition, and they are certainly not dressed as you are. Listen I don't know if this is a prank or you're genuinely lost but you need to leave this vicinity before we exart force on you." Shawn, the other bodyguard warned, placing his hand on the taser with him.
Ethan was thrown into confusion and despair. What was happening again? Was the key fake? What the hell was going on?
As Ethan pounded on his new predicament, a cream colored Lamborghini Veneno Roadster drove and stopped at the gate near him.Only Ethan seemed fazed by the beauty of the car. The guards didn't seem fazed. They were used to such sight every day. Perks of working in the Estate gave them opportunity to behold beautiful sights like this. The car was crafted by a team of master artisans and embodied elegance and extravagance in every curve and contour.Ethan wasn't surprised any more, this was the type of vicinity to see such cars after all.The gull-wing doors gracefully swung open, revealing an interior fit for royalty. A lady in her mid twenties stepped out of the car.She was clad in a simple Blue top and mini skirt, made by the famous Gucci brand. Bracelets of Gold adorned her wrists and neck. Her brown hair was styled in a ponytail that complemented her caramel skin tone. Her skin was smooth and neat like that of a new born. Her eyes were blue like the sky, bright and beautiful. She
Ethan was thrown into a state of fear. Why did he keep going from one trouble into another?."Rebekah calm down." Ethan began. He had to be extremely careful now. If she reacted this way to what he said, how will she react if he told her He was that hidden trillionare she mentioned. "She'll never believe. It would only make things worse." Ethan concluded in his mind."Go ahead and explain yourself Ethan." Rebekah said, her eyes fully settled on Ethan, ready to devour the words that would leave his mouth."Alright so, I met the trillionare by accident. Honestly I didn't even know it was him. He needed something done quickly and I happened to be at the right place and right time to help him, so I did. Instead of paying me, he gave me a chance to work in his Villa, that's how I got the key." Ethan carefully explained. He couldn't believe how effortless he came up with that lie on the spot.A stillness of silence followed for a few seconds, as Rebekah digested everything Ethan had just sa
So would you like to come?" Rebekah asked. The question threw Ethan off guard. He didn't think he would ever be invited to their reunion because he was the least well to do amongst them. It's been a decade since he last saw his classmates. Memories of their last day in highschool briefly flashed through his eyes.He could remember how he air was filled with so much joy and celebration as everyone was with their family taking pictures, sharing food laughing and having a good time, how he stood at a secluded corner and watched with a heavy heart. He remembered how had no one to share the celebration of the day with. He was all alone."Ethan?" Rebekah called, snapping Ethan back to the present."I'll let you know. I can't decide right now." Ethan answered."No problem. Here" she deeps her hand into the car and brings out a card. "The address of the party is there, should you later decide to show up." She added, handing over the card to Ethan."Alright then." Ethan collected the card and
"We're honoured to be privileged to serve you. Master Ethan." Said the young man as they all bowed to Ethan. "I'm Leo, the one in charge of the workers." The man in front began. He was the only one not dressed in the same grey uniform as the others. He was average looking and a couple of inches shorter than Ethan."This is Steve, the Gardener.." Leo continued the introduction, pointing to the young guy on the left side. Steve had quite the muscular build which was not surprising given his occupation."This is Leah, the Chef. She's one of the best in the country." pointing to an average height petite lady. She had on her head an hair cover that was common with cooks. She came fully prepared. "This is Hera, the maid. She'll oversee and take care of the house." Leo explained, as he pointed to the young lady with caramel skin. "I hope that would not be too demanding on only you?" Ethan asked, facing Hera."Not to worry Master Ethan." Hera replied with a bow, her voice soft and tender.
"You too sir." Suzan replied with a smile as she headed out. ***As the day opened up, the night surrenders to the first blush of dawn, a symphony of colors begins to paint the canvas of the sky. With each passing moment, the darkness recedes, giving way as the sun finally breaks free from the horizon, its warm embrace bathes the earth in a soft, ethereal light, awakening the world with promises of endless possibilities and new beginnings. A similitude of Ethan's new reality. The door creaks open as Suzan walked into the room. The thick Italian curtains refused to grant entrance to the rays of the sun that sought to penetrate into the room."Good morning sir." She greeted but got no reply.Walking up to the bed, she noticed he's still sleeping. Deeply for that matter."He must have been really tired." Suzan thought in her mind.Taking her eyes off him, she walked towards the curtains and pulled them open, finally releasing the rays of sun into the room. The rays illuminated the roo
Ethan waited for Paul to park the car, and when he was satisfied that the car was out of sight,he began to walk towards the extravagant building on foot.It was his choice to act this way and make everyone believe he was just a guy from the streets. After all, it would take some time getting used to this type of life. He could still remember theshock on Rebekah's face when she collected the key.Ethan scoffed. So what if he hadn't lied and told her the truth, would she have handled thetruth? Ethan shook his head. Rebekah would call him a liar unless there was evidence, andwhere would he have gotten the evidence from? The old man was probably asleep by that time. The guards would have taken it as a great opportunity to throw him out, as they have done tomany imposters. Rebekah said so herself that no one has ever been in the No. 1 Villa. No, Ethan concluded. If he had told her the truth without learning about some things, it may notend well. The guards could kill him, take th
He couldn't help but feel a bit out of place among the wealthy and well-connected guests. He tried to blend in, but he couldn't shake the feeling that all eyes were on him. Oh no! Thosefeelings were back. He began to make his way to his usual corner. The clinking of glasses andthe murmur of conversations seemed to echo in his ears, amplifying his sense of unease.Therewere overwhelming displays of wealth around him—the designer outfits, the sparkling jewelry, the air of entitlement that seemed to choke the air in the room.Ethan knew his presence here was wrong. All wrong.Just as he was about to retreat to a quiet corner, he heard a familiar voice.“Wait a minute, isn't that Ethan Anderson?”Ethan froze with his back turned to the source of the voice. He didn't dare turn.“Did you invite him?” Another person asked dryly.“Oh! It is really Ethan.” The familiar voice said in excitement. Footsteps rushed towards him.“Ethan! I'm so glad you could make it!"Summoning courage, Ethan p
Then she paused. “Ethan here was given a key to the No. 1 Villa.”“What?” Sheila nearly choked.“He stole it!” Sean concluded loudly and everyone else joined him. “He has always lied abouteverything. This is no different.”Ethan sat frozen in his seat. He had hoped for some support, some semblance of solidarity from Rebekah. But instead, she seemed content to dismiss him as a mere servant, unworthy of thesame respect and consideration afforded to the wealthy elite.“He works there as a servant.” The words came out of Rebekah's mouth like an abomination. “Iam not judging you Ethan.” She quickly added to Ethan's shock.Yeah, right. Ethan thought bitterly. He could clearly hear the judgment in her voice.“How? How did you rise to the position of a servant at the No. 1 Villa? Not even the presidentcan go there without an invitation.” Sheila snapped. She was really curious.“Actually, I earned my place there. I was helped by a powerful man…after helping him out withsomething…Look, yo
