"William, I--"

William raised his hand to stop Gracia who wanted to speak. "You don't have to say anything."

Gracia looked at Viston and reflexively the man pulled Gracia to stay close to him, as if emphasizing that he wanted to protect the girl. William saw the gesture and he smiled to himself at it.

Viston stood with a serious expression, admitting that he was responsible for their presence in that place. "Gracia's not wrong, I forced her to come here," he said.

The situation should not have caused laughter. Yet, somehow, William couldn't help his quiet chuckle. His voice was enough to catch the attention of Gracia and Viston, who were now staring at him with confused and slightly disturbed looks.

William, realizing his mistake, immediately offered an apology. "Sorry!" he said, his hands immediately raised in a defensive gesture. "I didn't mean to laugh at you guys."

Gracia, quick to act, released Viston's hand grip and made a small dash towards William. "Young Master Anderson, what
