Just as William hung up the phone, he felt confused. Vera, his coworker, had suddenly planned something rather absurd. William rubbed his forehead, trying to piece together what he had just heard.

Before William could finish his thought, Martin Winter suddenly came to him. Martin was William's coworker who often made him feel annoyed.

"William, have you duplicated the files I asked you to?" Martin asked in a high tone.

William furrowed his brows. "What? I wasn't given that task," William replied, confused.

Martin scowled, looking annoyed. "I put it on my desk. I told you earlier to double it immediately," Martin said, accusing William.

William gave Martin an incredulous look. "Didn't Mr. Jackson tell you to do it?" asked William, trying to remind Martin.

However, Martin approached William's desk instead. He bowed slightly and spoke with sharp words, "When you're told to work, you do it right away! Can't you see I'm busy? You're almost useless in this office anyway."
