William waited outside the office building in his car. When he saw Vera coming out of the door, he immediately opened the car door for her. Vera got in with a somber-looking face, different from her usual.

"Is your boss bothering you again?" William asked, trying to understand Vera's mood. He knew that Vera sometimes felt pressured by Jhonas' rather annoying attitude.

"No," Vera replied, staring out the window. "I'm fine, it's nothing." Her voice was flat, trying to mask her anxiety.

William watched Vera. He knew that something was bothering Vera, even though she didn't want to admit it. "If you're fine, why do you look so glum?" he asked again, this time in a more serious tone.

Vera sighed, then turned to look at William. "I'm just feeling a little tired, William, that's all. There are some things in the office that make me feel uncomfortable, but it's no big deal. I can handle it."
