When He's Underestimated

Vera launches her car through the streets of Chicago towards William's apartment. In the car, in the back seat, Sarah sits with a glum face. She mumbles to herself about William not having enough money to even pay for a taxi to go to the karaoke place. She was clearly frustrated with the situation.

Vera heard Sarah's mumbling and felt the need to drown out her cousin's voice. With a quick movement, she grabbed a piece of gum from her bag and gave it to Sarah, hoping to shut her up.

William was waiting out front and the man got into the car. Vera welcomed him and they drove straight to the karaoke place.

The car then drove at a fairly high speed, passing through the city streets that were starting to get crowded on a weekend afternoon. The city is alive with people strolling on the sidewalks, the sound of music from bars and clubs, and the occasional honking of cars, until they arrive at "Harmony Echoes", a luxurious and prominent karaoke place in the city center.
