It had been three hours since Elijah met his grandfather, Alexander, yet it felt like only minutes had passed. There was no tension, no awkward silences. Just stories and laughter.

Both men now sat in the cosy sitting area of Alexander’s room, sipping whisky as their conversations flowed.

Silence settled for a while before Alexander broke the silence with a clearing of his throat. “Your parents,” Alexander began, his voice soft as he put down his glass of whisky, “were the most beautiful couple. Loving, kind, and incredibly understanding of one another.”

Elijah’s heart tightened at the words. His parents. His biological parents. For some reason, the mention of them made different emotions rise.

Alexander leaned forward and opened a drawer of the coffee table, he pulled out a photo album, handing it over to Elijah. “Here.”

Elijah accepted the album, his hands steady, a contrast to the tumble in his heart.

When he opened the first page, he froze. There, staring back at him, a photogr

3 MONTHS LATERIt’s been three months—three full months have passed since Elijah’s descent in London, three full months since he met his grandfather, and three full months since he fully understood his identity. He now stood in front of the full-length mirror in his penthouse, staring at the man standing in the reflection. • From Scorned To Supreme    Chapter 1 The Stones

Today marked the 80th birthday of the Stone family patriarch. The hall dripped with wealth—chandeliers that sparkled like diamonds, marble floors polished to a mirror shine, and the finest champagne flowing freely. Only the elite and closest members of the Stone family were allowed into this exclusive, grand hall, each one of them wearing their status as a shield. You could practically smell the clashes of power in the air. The Stones were one of the wealthiest families in New York, their influence stretching across borders and industries. Every major player in the business world wanted a connection to them, an alliance, and even today, they had come bearing gifts fit for kings. It was a competition—who could show the most power, the most influence, the most wealth? The youngest grandson, Julian Stone, approached first, his confident stride echoing through the lavish room, as he proudly cradled a statue of a golden Buddha, gleaming with an estimated worth in the millions.

  • From Scorned To Supreme    Chapter 2 Heir

Elijah couldn’t believe what was unfolding before him. Young master? What do they mean by young master? The way hundreds of bodyguards bowed in unison, showing utmost respect, was beyond anything he had ever seen. He had always been invisible, blending into the shadows, unnoticed and unimportant. Yet, here he was, the center of attention in a way he never imagined. People passing by stopped in their tracks, eyes wide in disbelief, watching the surreal display. Even cars slowed, some drivers rolling down their windows to catch a glimpse of what looked like a scene out of a movie. What was even more baffling was that all this grandeur was directed at someone like him—a man who wore secondhand clothes and barely made ends meet. Elijah clenched his fists, unsettled by the absurdity of it all. “You must be mistaken,” he said, his voice sharp as he turned to Alfred, the leader of the group. “I think you've got the wrong guy.” Alfred remained calm, his expression unwavering. “Young mast

  • From Scorned To Supreme    Chapter 3 The Tables Turn

The Patriarch’s voice boomed through the room, his final words settling in, and there was no room for negotiations. Even after Elijah promised to pay back every cent, no matter how long it took. Elijah had no choice but to divorce his granddaughter, Eleanor, or face the consequences. The Patriarch even promised to handle all of Esther’s medical expenses if Elijah agreed, hiring the best doctors and transferring her to the best clinic. It was supposed to be an easy decision after all, or so the Patriarch thought. But as for Elijah, it was far from easy. He stood there, torn apart, unsure of what to do. If the situation were different—if it were just a matter of choosing between two women—it wouldn’t have been a problem. But Eleanor wasn’t just any woman. Despite the way the Stones treated Elijah like garbage, Eleanor had always been different. She had never looked down on him because of his status or lack of wealth and qualifications. From the day they were forced into marria

  • From Scorned To Supreme    Chapter 4 Windsor Company

Morning came faster than expected, and Elijah found himself riding his worn-out scooter through the busy streets of New York, heading towards Windsor Company’s branch office. Despite the hustle of the city, Elijah couldn't help but notice the towering structure of Windsor’s building in the distance. Even though it was just a branch, the architecture was breathtaking—something straight out of a prestigious architectural magazine. The glass windows shone brightly under the rising sun, making the building look sharp and modern. Its clean, smooth lines gave it a powerful appearance, like it was built for only the most important people. Elijah, standing outside in his scuffed shoes and old, worn jacket, looked completely out of place. This was the kind of place where the rich and powerful belonged, and it looked like he didn’t fit in at all. After parking his scooter in a spot he barely managed to find, Elijah stepped off and let out a deep sigh. Glancing at the time on his watch

  • From Scorned To Supreme    Chapter 5 A Loss

Inside the executive office, Elijah couldn’t help but be impressed by the extravagance surrounding him. The rich, plush carpet beneath his feet muffled his footsteps as he crossed the room. The walls were adorned with fine art, and a crystal pendant chandelier hung from the ceiling. Everything in the room screamed elegance, down to the finely crafted beige couch in the corner. This was clearly the work of a specialized interior designer, and it was impossible not to appreciate the artistry. “This is beautiful,” Elijah murmured as he scanned the room, his gaze taking in every detail—the gleaming wooden desk, the carefully placed vases, and the accent wall that tied the whole room together. It was the kind of place that made you feel powerful just by sitting in it. He turned to Alfred, who stood with a slight, satisfied smile on his face. It was obvious that Alfred was pleased the young master approved. “I'm glad you like it, young master,” Alfred replied, a hint of pride in hi

  • Chapter 39 Reunion

“Revenge?” Marylin asked, her voice low as she looked at both Ried and Zayden in utter confusion. She was confused, revenge… Why would Liam seek revenge against his own father?Ried nodded with a sigh as he crossed his arms against his chest. “Yes. Revenge, for his mother.”Tired words made Marylin’s brows furrow, his statement threw her off, and she turned her questioning gaze towards Zayden. Liam’s mother died when he was thirteen… What revenge could he possibly be seeking after fifteen long years?Zayden took a seat on the grey armchair. “Liam’s mother, Rosaline. She’s never had it easy in life, especially her time with James… Every day was a new kind of torture and torment, she went through both emotional and physical abuse at the hands of James.” Zayden said, his tone a bit lower as if talking about it felt heavy to him.Marylin’s heart dropped a beat, and her eyes widened. “What? Are you serious?” She whispered in disbelief. Why hasn’t she ever heard of this before… Liam has nev

“Liam?” Eleanor said, her tone surprised and her eyes slightly widened. No wonder the car looked awfully familiar, she had seen it countless times at the Stone mansion.Liam’s signature smile was in place as he nodded, “Need a ride?” he asked casually, though there was a bit of amusement in his tone. When Carlos had told him that Eleanor’s cards were cut off and her car was taken, he didn’t think it would last.Yet, here she was, walking.Eleanor hesitated for a second. She's never really been close to Liam, though Liam had a strong relationship with all of the Stone family members, she and him had never really talked much.Liam noticed Eleanor’s hesitation and chuckled lightly, shaking his head. His earlier sour mood now evaporating. “It’s really no trouble. I was on my way to the Stone mansion to see Carlos.” He reassured.Eleanor nodded, in all honesty, it was better than standing under the bus stop in the cold and waiting for the rain to eventually die down.“Alright, thank you.”

  • Chapter 37 Closing A Chapter

The next day arrived too quickly for Eleanor. She was currently in her room in the guesthouse, staring at her packed bag, which held her essentials. Her grandfather had told her yesterday to move back into the main mansion. It wasn’t a suggestion, it was an order.Eleanor zipped up the medium-sized bag. Most of her clothes were already in the main mansion, so it was unnecessary for her to pack up the ones in the guesthouse. She hung her bag on her shoulder and looked at her room one last time before turning off the light. It was weird why it felt like she was closing a chapter as she turned off the lights. She walked into the kitchen, ensuring to turn off every appliance before also turning off the light and heading into the living room. For some reason, the living room felt hard to leave. “I’m going to miss the peace of this place.” She muttered to herself, knowing she was about to return to the chaos of the main mansion. She was going to miss the guesthouse, but was it really the g

“So, what you’re saying is, you think Liam intentionally told you about the heart?” Ried asked again, leaning forward slightly, his brown eyes on Marylin’s sage green ones.Marylin nodded, her hands folded into each other on her lap. Her eyes were showing certainty. “That’s what I believe. Liam is never careless. He wanted me to know.”Zayden, who had been sitting silently with his head looking down in thought, finally raised his eyes, his expression unusually serious. His voice was calm as he spoke. “She’s right, Liam is calculated. Everything he says and does is deliberate. It’s how he was raised. His dad drilled that into him.”Ried adjusted his sitting position, now sitting a bit straighter. “Alright, let’s say he did this on purpose. Why would he expose his own father?” He asked.“That’s exactly what I’ve been trying to figure out,” Marylin said, shaking her head as she turned her gaze towards Zayden.Zayden stood up, stepping a few feet as he thought about the situation over a

She knew it would cause a fit.She felt like disappearing into thin air. Just then, Carlos strolled into the mansion, his hands tucked in his pocket as he passed by the dining table. While Carlos couldn’t care less about his ban from dinners, Marcus was trying his absolute best to return to their grandfather’s good side.“I said, ‘Where is Elijah?” Mr. Stone’s voice rang once more.
