Stuck

The sterile white walls of my apartment seemed to mock the emotional turmoil swirling within me. Camila stood in the centre of the room, a stark contrast in her simple jeans and t-shirt against the sleek furniture. The city lights outside twinkled like a million distant promises, a reminder of the world beyond this moment, beyond this suffocating dissonance.
