“And who are you, young man? How did you get in here and who offered you a seat here?” The manager turned his rage to Nathan who was now standing and commanding respect.

Nathan didn’t say a word in return. He simply dipped his hand in his pocket, took his wallet and showed the man his Diamond membership card.

“I don’t believe you! You stole that card. Or it’s fake!” The man resisted and before Nathan could blink twice, the man stretched out and snatched the Diamond card from Nathan’s hand and without examining it properly, he broke the card in half.

Nathan sighed. He was boiling with rage at this point because even after showing the Diamond card to this mad dog, he still didn’t believe him. But he remained calm and let the storm pass by.

Silence, they say, is the best answer given to a fool.

“You are a thief! You dare challenge me? So you think you can come here and show off what you don’t have? Do you realize that you are in D Royals premium section and it is only meant f

“You are fired, Draco. Come over to my office after this and claim your sack letter.” The man spoke rashly. Mr. Fernando was a well built man. He was feared by all his workers, young and old. He was known to be a no nonsense man. He even made sure he tolerated no malarkey garbage from his own daughter, Selene. The only people who Mr. Fernando paid his utmost respect to were his clients, customers and his superiors. So, seeing Mr. Fernando dash out of his office in such heat of anger made everyone wonder if truly Nathan was an elite player afterall. “Boss, with all due respect, you have been fooled. This man here is nothing but a scam and a fraud. He stole our membership card and eats our luxurious meals. He should be put in prison!” Draco tried to defend his pride, not wanting to be embarrassed by a ‘commoner’. But his words only angered Mr. Fernando more. “How dare you! The man standing before you has over 80% shares in this company. He is a Reed and he has threatened to s

I heard someone bid her work for over $5 million! The person must have also contacted her!” “Who even invited her to this party? She is in GoldVine college. How did she know? She looks like a goddess! “Dave must have invited her. Dave really has a wealthy circle. She’s so rich!” David noticed that attention soon diverted from him and Amanda and was now flying towards Abigail. He didn’t know so much about Abigail, but he heard the news that her work was bought for over $5 million for just a pair of sneakers. He wondered who the buyer would be and most importantly, how rich this Abigail was. “Everyone! It’s with my utmost respect and pleasure that I welcome the 3rd beauty goddes in GoldVine University. I’m glad she accepted my invite.” David spoke up, breaking the dense silence. Everyone began to cheer th

Heavy dense gasps filled the air, enhancing the blunt silence that erupted from the crowd. Everyone watched what would happen next. And then Nathan pulled out his gift. It was a bouquet. He dropped the flower and frowned. “Oh crap! What has Nathan gotten himself into?” Neil whispered and shut his eyes in shame for his friend. “I thought he said he wasn’t going to make it! Now dude’s about to get messed up again!” Marcus agreed. They were both feeling bad for Nathan already. He has put himself in the spotlight and is now about to embarrass himself. Suddenly, a loud laughter from David broke through the silence and echoed in the bar. Every other person began to laugh loudly at Nathan too. “Flowers? He brought flowers? Has he no shame? First, he had the guts to come here with Abigail, now, he is attempting to steal Amanda?” “He thinks this is a birthday party for losers!” “Maybe he thinks it's a gift for Amanda, but it’s actually a tribute for his funeral! I wonder what Da

Marcus and Neil quickly rushed outside to meet Nathan. There he was standing with milk all over his body with Abigail by his side. Marcus and Neil had been noticing some changes in Nathan recently. “Dude. What happened back there? I thought you said..” “Forget what happened back there. Let’s just say everything went according to plan! Now, tell me, who wants to go to Disneyland with them?” Nathan asked. “I do! I mean! Marcus first spoke up followed by a nervous smirk! “I’ve always wanted to go there! You know, since I was a kid!” “Good. Here. Take this!” Nathan handed a black box to Marcus. “This is your gift to Amanda.” “What’s in it?” “It’s a Diamond necklace. It’s worth $1.7 Million!” Nathan announced and Marcus almost dropped the box to the ground but with a good reflex, he swiftly caught the box. He examined it with so much attention and detail. He was holding $1.7 Million in his hands? In a tiny box? His hands were shaking! “How… What's going on, man? How did yo

Different students kept bashing the group chat with mesages. Messages about Nathan’s demise at Cheng bar. Pictures and videos were already flying across on the internet. Nathan’s face was now everywhere, labeled as the church rat. Many called him milkman, some flower boy and others, bouquet boy. “He ran home like a little baby! He couldn’t stand it. What’s was he even thinking?” “At least dude had to get a taste of wealth. May take a couple of years before he experiences another!” The mockery was so intense that it began to piss Nathan off. But he said and did nothing. He wasn’t going to engage in cyber fight with those brokies. He was way above their level. Let them talk. Talk is cheap. As for him, he would make sure they all see who he truly is. Someone then tagged Marcus. “Hey dude! That was some crazy ass shit you pulled up back there! Where did you get that necklace? You stole it?” “Yeah man!” Another person commented. “That shit is worth $1 Million! How did you get it

The comment section was blowing up. “Yeah, let’s do this baby!” “Let’s see who wins!” “It’s definitely Amanda. Who else? Dave would literally buy her a Luxe Tiara!” The host, who was a final year student popularly known as Bubble Gum, continued speaking. “You all know how this goes. The first votes began to come in. James Brown gifted a Sparkling Diamond $5 to Hailey White. X1, X2, X3! Janet Foster gifted a Bouquet Bundle $100 to Rose Buenavista X1, X2, X8, X10! Joe gifted a Luxe Tiara $1000 to Amanda $1000. X1 X2. This last vote made everyone pause. Someone just spent $2000 on Amanda? “Yo Joe! $2000? That’s large bro!” “For real! $2000? Who can spend more than that?” “I don’t think anyone else can. Except Dave!” More and more votes kept coming in and stats showed truly that Amanda was definitely going to win the contest. She was already topping 2nd on the chart as expected. The top 5 beauties kept flaunting their golden skin and angelic faces to their camera to attract more gifts from viewers. Dave refrained from gifting. He just smiled at his pc. He didn’t need to lift a finger, his girlfriend would win. She now had a lot of fans after the birthday party. It was all part of the game. Then, he pointed to some images of some really big and influential business men and women along with top tier kids with the X mark on them with a marker paint? Or blood? It didn’t matter. The message was clear. “Listen, Kamsi, the world is a gameboard,” Donald said, his tone cold and deliberate. “And every single player is either an asset or a liability. Those marked here…” —he gestured to the images with red Xs— “were liabilities. People who stood in the way of progress. My progress. And now, they’re nothing. Pew… Vanished like thin air!” Kamsi’s eyes scanned the board. She recognized some faces—politicians, CEOs, heirs to fortunes. People who, at one point, seemed untouchable. Yet here they were, reduced to mere trophies on Donald’s twisted scoreboard. “So, this is your playbook?” she asked, her voice laced with a mix of curiosity and disdain. “You decide who lives and who dies?” Donald smiled, a dark and knowing expression. “Not quite. Kamsi paused and turned around. “I’m going to kill Alex,” She said flatly. “Since you are not going to do anything even though I’ve told you all the things he did to me. So, I am going to take matters into my own hands!” Donald smiled and scoffed. He got up from his office chair, walked to the front of his table and sat on it. “Tell me how exactly you plan to do that child! You’re gonna just show up to his face and put a bullet through his skull?” He asked. “Well, yes. That is exactly what I am doing. I don’t think you understand the things he did to me. Every night for years I cried my lungs out! You’re becoming too weak and…” “Shh…” Donald shushed her and walked towards her. Then, he placed her head on his chest. “Let it out kid. Let it out.” “Now… now my fucking brother is dead and I was not the one who killed him. I deserved to be the one to take his life, Donald!” Kamsi's voice cracked as she buried her face in his chest. “Who the fuck are you?” cried the dude in pain as he managed to pick himself up and ran away. Emily, seeing that their attack and defense system was weak, began to back off. “Fuck you! You are fighting for this ugly, bitch. This is not new to her, stupid. Her boyfriend does worse every day. Good luck saving her from herself and from her boyfriend. You are a fool!” Emily then ran along with the rest of them. Those words rang in Mr. Frost’s ear over and over again, ‘Her boyfriend does worse everyday!’ That explained so much. So much. Her innocent smile, the bag beneath her eye, the hesitation in her voice, and the way she deflected kindness—it all made sense now. Mr. Frost clenched his fists, his sharp mind processing every detail with surgical precision. He turned to Clara, who was slumped on the ground, her arms shielding her face as though bracing for more blows. “Clara,” he said softly, his tone stripped of its usual calculation, replaced with genuine concern. “It’s over. Most people would’ve made a scene.” He smirked faintly, the corner of his mouth twitching upward. “I’ve learned that making a scene rarely solves anything. Besides, it wasn’t worth the energy.” Clara nodded, studying him for a moment before straightening up. “Well, if you need anything else, just call for me.” Before she turned to leave, he stopped her. “Here, my card. He walked into the restaurant, blending seamlessly into the mundane hum of everyday life. His attire was plain—a worn jacket, a modest button-down shirt, and slacks that spoke of a man who had neither wealth nor prestige. It was all part of the act. He moved with an unassuming grace, each step measured, each movement calculated to ensure no one looked twice. Sliding into a seat near the window, he scanned the room. The clink of cutlery, the murmur of quiet conversations, and the occasional burst of laughter filled the air. It was a world that seemed to forget its troubles, even if just for a while. A young waiter approached, her notepad in hand. “Your order, sir?” she asked flatly, her tone betraying a routine she had repeated countless times that day and other days and probably all her life as a teenager. He looked up at her, a soft smile on his face, his eyes crinkling just enough to seem harmless. “Water,” he said simply. Her pen paused midair, and her eyes narrowed slightly.

“Mr. Donald, tell us, is it true?” “Are all the accusations true?” “Is it true that you orchestrated the death of Nathan Reed? That you put a bomb on his chopper?” “The public needs and answer, Mr. Aruthur!” Donald ignored all the questions, walking into the building facility like he was truly guillty, his face as stiff as the knot of his tie and the belt around his waist. He went straight into the reception area, his personal security walking besides and behind him, and then he demanded to see the CEO, Samuel Langford. Donald had so many reasons to point fingers at Samuel for the incident that happened to Nathan. He had every cause to believe that Samuel planned every detail so it would expose him to the world. After all, they were having an intense feud as he owed the Langfords over 100 Million Euros. “Sorry sir, you can not see Mr. Langford at the moment. He is occupied and is not accepting visitors that are not family members or important friends. And you would need

She looked like a disaster in the body of a dejected camel craving for a drop of water from the sky, its neck stretched out and elongated. The once pretty, sleek Vanessa was now a shadow of her former self when she was still in abject poverty and suffering. “Come on now, Vanessa. You are asking the wrong questions and making the wrong lamentations. Don’t you wonder where your fiance has been all these weeks? Why he has not found you or called out an intense search. Dr. Hearst finally broke his silence, his voice calm but unsettling. “Donald is right about one thing—this isn’t random. Someone planned this, and they knew exactly what they were doing. A man like Nathan Reed doesn’t just… vanish unless someone wants him gone. But the real question is: why frame us?” Vivian crossed her arms, her sharp gaze fixed on the doctor. “You mean to tell me someone orchestrated all this just to spark a war between us and the Reeds’ allies? What kind of lunatic does that?” “One who stands to gain from it,” Hearst replied, his tone icy. A tense silence filled the room, thick with suspicion and paranoia. Donald broke it with a guttural growl. “Fine. I’ll find out who did it. And when I do, I’ll make sure they regret the day they were born. Nobody crosses Donald Arthur and gets away with it. Because I am already receiving calls and many of my investors and clients are withdrawing their funds from my company! I am going down!” He pointed to Enrique. “You are

“Breaking News! The city of London is reeling in shock and dismay as it faces one of the most heartbreaking losses in recent memory. Following the unprecedented open apology issued by Nathan Reed to Donald Arthur for disrupting his daughter’s wedding—a move that had already left many questioning his intentions—tragedy has struck in the most unimaginable way. Reports confirm that the private chopper carrying Nathan Reed, one of London’s most influential businessmen, exploded mid-air shortly after takeoff earlier today. Alongside Reed, the pilot and an unidentified passenger were also aboard the aircraft. Authorities have stated that there are no survivors. This catastrophic event comes on the heels of a series of baffling actions by Reed. Just weeks ago, he paid an eye-popping 100 million euros as compensation to Arthur, freed members of the Davenport family who were previously arrested, and was last seen visiting Donald Arthur’s estate in a surprising public gesture of reconciliati
