Mr. Frost walked into the apartment, clutching Clara’s hand as tightly as possible. Each time his skin touched Clara’s, his body felt the spark, the spark it felt when he touched Candace, hugged her, and kissed her. Memories from the past flooded into his turbulent mind.

“Are you sure you want to do this? My parents are…”

Mr. Frost shut her mouth with a tender, soft kiss. “Your lipstick was a bit much. Now, it’s better,” he said.

The Spencer family was not a joke. Their wealth was exceedingly great. The main apartment, a four storey …mansion, loomed ahead of them, its grandiose pillars and sparkling glass windows reflecting the city lights. Mr. Frost took in every detail, analyzing weak spots, exits, and security placements out of habit. But tonight wasn’t about a mission—it was about Clara.

She squeezed his hand. “They’re going to judge you,” she admitted. “They’ll try to humiliate you.”

Mr. Frost smirked. Let them try.

The butler at the door barely acknowledged Clara as he p

A beat of silence. Then her father laughed. Actually laughed, which was the formal way of expressing distaste and flabbergast in the Spencers’ home. “Oh, you can’t be serious.” Deborah’s smile was razor-sharp. “You expect us to believe you’ve replaced Brod with… this?” Frost’s lips twitched at their arrogance. How rude of them! They didn't even offer him a drink? Not even a seat?! Clara’s hands trembled, but she refused to let go of Frost. “I love him,” she said, her voice defiant. Deborah scoffed. “Love?” She said it like it was a dirty word. “And what, pray tell, does he have to offer?” Frost finally spoke, his voice smooth as silk. “A world far bigger than yours, Mrs. Spencer.” The room went still. Clara’s father lowered his whiskey. “Is that so?” His tone was mocking, but there was something else beneath it now. A flicker of doubt. Frost’s smile didn’t waver. He leaned in slightly, just enough to let his presence fill the space. “Tell me, Mr. Spencer,” he said, voice low

Frost smiled, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead before turning back to her parents. His expression was unreadable again. “Goodbye, Mr. and Mrs. Spencer.” “No one is leaving nowhere!” A voice from the doorway suddenly broke into the heavy silence. Everyone looked in the direction of the voice. It was none other than the Demon himself, Broderick Wimbleton! Brod stepped further into the room, his polished leather shoes clicking sharply against the marble floor. His expression was that of a man who owned the room—no, the world—and expected everyone else to kneel before him. Clara’s limbs paled in fear. She held Frost for support. Even with Frost by her side, she felt she was near the end of her life, as it were. She gripped Frost’s arm even tighter, her nails digging into his sleeve. She had seen Brod angry before. This wasn’t just anger. This was possession. Brod was not alone. He was with some high-ranking officers and another pretty lady, dressed in a red silky gown and leath

“He knocked the basket over. Laughed as the eggs shattered. The poor delivery boy—who was barely getting by—had to pay for every single one. His day’s earnings? Gone. His dignity? Stomped on.” Brod’s smirk faltered, just a fraction, and Clara’s grip on Frost tightened. “But here’s the thing, Brod,” Frost continued, taking a slow step forward, forcing Brod to instinctively step back. “The little boy didn’t stay little forever. He grew up. He learned the ways of the world. And one day… the rich, spoiled brat found himself standing face-to-face with the very boy he used to torment.” The room had gone deathly silent. Even the officers standing behind Brod seemed to sense the weight of the moment. Frost tilted his head slightly, amusement flickering in his icy gaze. “Tell me, Brod… does that story sound familiar?” “You… you asshole… how can you be alive? Nathan!! You know what? It doesn’t even matter anymore. You are still the loser of yesterday. I heard your story, Nathan Reed… your

“Oh, Brod…” He adjusted his cuffs with a casual ease that sent a shiver down Clara’s spine. “I didn’t think I won.” His gaze sharpened, pinning Brod in place like an insect under glass. “I know I have.” “And oh, about winning, that reminds me,” Frost looked around and turned to Deborah Spencer. “I think people who treat their daughters like tools for selfish interests should not be allowed to win.” He brought out his phone and made a brief phone call while everyone stared impatiently in silence, wondering who this man was and what that card was. As soon as Frost ended the brief call, the phone in Deborah’s hand began to ring, and then Charles’s phone also began to ring. They looked into each other’s eyes. Before they could both respond to their calls, the landline telephone began to scream aloud. Soon, all of the phones in their mansion began to ring loudly. “Mrs. Deborah, sorry, but we can no longer do business with you!” “Charles, I am sorry, man, but my firm is gonna have

Clara turned her head to Brod, whose eyes were open wide, clutching his phone like one call would give him a heart attack. There he was, the man who made her life a living hell, squeaking like a little rat. Was this what power felt like? No, was this what being cared for feel like? Clara felt like she was in heaven and had myriads of angels watching over her. It felt so… so wrong, so good. Then, she looked at the man standing beside her. Her hero who commanded the angels. She felt like a little baby just standing beside him. If he told her to jump from the heavens, she would shut her eyes, plug in an earpiece, and jump. It did not matter where she would fall, the earth or even hell, he ruled it all! That was exactly how she felt right now. Frost winked at her and carved a smile on the side of his lips. It was a go-ahead signal. The ball was in her court, and he would do anything she said. Then, she looked back at the crying woman. “Mom, I guess some sins have to be forgiven i

If there was one person who knew the mansion better than everyone, it was Kamsi. She had studied every nuke and cranny of her godfather’s mansion, had the code to every door, and knew all the hidden passages. She walked with Charles following her. They were cautious, ensuring no one saw them. Kamsi was eager, eager to meet her brother. She never believed in fate or that a supernatural entity controlled her fate. She knew that her life was in her own hands, and she held the pen to write the story. And she had paused for a moment. What if she was writing from the wrong POV? What if there are underlying truths she had ignored? What if everything she believed about Nathan—about Mr. Frost—was wrong? She clenched her fists, pushing the thoughts away. No. He left me. He abandoned me. He let me suffer. That was the truth she had chosen to accept, and she would not waver now. Charles, walking behind her, noticed her hesitation. “Kamsi,” he whispered. “You sure about this?” She turned, he

Charles sighed, shaking his head. “I don’t believe you, Kamsi. I don’t believe you want to stay in the dark. I think you’re just afraid of what happens when you step into the light.” She looked away, refusing to let him see how much that stung.Charles suddenly notice something. He looked into his rearview mirror and noticed that a familiar car had been following him. He tried to shrug it off, but another car had joined in. He was sure they were after him. And that was it! He had been caught. “Hey, can you drive?” Charles asked calmly. “Not really. I won’t say I am a pro, but I can handle the wheel. Why?” Kamsi asked in response. “I’m having a sudden sprain in my wrist, and I need to apply my balm. Wanna take over? Do not get me killed. I still have my new girlfriend to meet!” Charles chuckled, and they exchanged positions. “I’ll try not to kill you, but your new girlfriend might not even want to see you, and that alone should kill you. So, you die either way.” Kamsi responde

“He is ready to see you now,” Beatrice said to them and led the way to Mr. Frost’s office. Megan and Cozbi walked into Mr. Frost’s billion-dollar furnished office, which was a golden needle in a haystack. No one had the privilege to see Mr. Frost in person, or, needlessly to say, see him in his office. Cozbi knew this, and she was shocked that Mr. Frost would accept her invitation to a business proposal. As soon as Cozbi walked in, her jaw dropped to the ground. She saw what appeared to be a vision or an office from a sci-fi movie scene. The mable floor tiles were a cloud blend of blue and white, blisteringly polished to perfection. One could see his own soul staring right back at him. It was a shiny floor. The types of furniture were beyond luxurious. Each piece of wood looked like it was crafted with a needle. The attention to detail was mesmerizing. Intricate sculptures were etched into the woods, and the cushions were perfectly tailored with zero errors. The modern chairs

Look what it took you to get here! You lost Fred, lost your employees, lost your wife, lost your sister! You are a loser, Nathan, and it will always be that way! Go on, walk away like you always do, but what I said just now is the truth, okay?” Alex roared out in agony and pain, trying to break free. His words kept opening a wound in Nathan’s heart. A wound that he was trying to heal, a wound he would spend a trillion dollars to completely close up. But Alex did not give a damn! He needed to lash out his own anger and cries. “I would kill you over and over again, brother. Our father was an asshole just like you. He hated me, he could not bear the responsibility of a son from his janitor. And I am the product of that disgusting intimacy, Nathan.” Alex’s voice broke. He didn’t want it to, but it did. His entire body shook,

Alex Reed struggled to breathe as hard as he struggled to see. He looked around and could barely see a thing. He was in a dark room and whoever the fuck put him there was merciful enough to place a dim light above his head, just enough for him to see his own breath. He tried to move, but his body was numb, and yes, he was tied to a chair, so he could not move. He had been captured. He tried to recall the last incident that happened to him. He was in his car, driving to the airport for his departure, and then he was drinking… Yes. He was poisoned by a man who was not Mark, his driver. Someone had ambushed him, and now, he was tied up to a stupid chair when he was supposed to be on the seat of his private jet. Clearly, it was Megan. Alex had been humiliated to the core already. He had Vanessa slap him ruthlessly in public, diminishing his pride, lowering his esteem in front of the whole world. Then, he had Emma threaten him. This was not right. This was not the Alex he had envision

Marcus’s breath hitched. His heart pounded in his ears, drowning out the sound of the wind rustling through the trees. His fingers curled into fists, and for the first time in years, he felt something he had long buried—fear. His lips parted slightly, but no words came. April, oblivious to the storm brewing within Marcus, stared at Neil’s grave with a mixture of shock and grief. “Neil…” she whispered, her voice cracking. “I—I didn’t even know he was buried here. I mean, I heard he was killed. And whoever did it, death to the person.” Mr. Frost said nothing. He simply stood there, his hands in his coat pockets, his head slightly tilted, watching Marcus the way a lion watches its prey—patient, unhurried, and inevitable. “You seem shaken, Marcus,” Mr. Frost finally said, his voice smooth, almost amused. “Why?” Marcus forced a dry chuckle. “I just… I wasn’t expecting this,” he lied. “It’s just bringing back memories.” “Ah,” Mr. Frost nodded, taking a slow step toward Neil’s grave.

  • CHAPTER 427 (FINALE)

“You said you wanted to see me?” Asked Marcus, panting. He had been running. He dared not disappoint Mr. Frost or make him wait. Especially because Mr. Frost had been cold towards him for a while. Marcus was not sure why Mr Frost would tell him to meet him at the cemetery. He literally just returned from a journey, not a vacation trip, a work trip to Dubai and he had been there for over 1 month, alone and away from all social connections, online and offline. “Did you bring your girlfriend as I requested?” asked Mr. Frost. “Yes I did, sir.” Marcus responded and signalled for April to come over. This was yet another strange thing. Why did he request for April too? April walked up to them and greeted Mr. Frost respectfully. Mr. Frost looked into her eyes and smiled, the type of smile that came from past lives and would live on for millions of years. His smile was so endearing, thought April, the very first day she met him. There was an aura he exuded that was so… so familiar, so

Mr. Frost stood there, silently allowing the breeze to softly kiss his tender skin. Tender? No, more like rough and craggy. In this context, many people would say he had been through hell and back. But this was not the case for Mr. Frost. He lived in hell, ate in hell, cried in hell, burnt in hell, revived, burnt again, defeated demons, defeated the devil himself, and took over control. But he was close. He was this close to losing it, this close to becoming the very thing that destroyed him. His life had been a mystery, a story that could cover over 2,000 pages and 400 chapters. If only he had been writing a story of his life, or at least just documenting some specific events or even writing a journal, then it might probably be the best selling book in the New York Times or even in the entire world. Maybe he would title it, “The Man Who Survived Hell and Ruled It.” or “A Man Called Revenge!” He scoffed. He gulped down his bottle of wine as he reminisced back to early orphan

Then you would say, ‘Abni, adhhab wastriha. ead ghadan wasawf takun 'aqwaa’?” “Then I would run back home and cry. Ha!” Alex sniffed in. “I think this is the time, Loulou. I am falling. I am tripping over, and I cannot stand by and watch all that we have built crumble. I have no one left, Loulou. Vanessa has left me, Megan she… she is a fucking snake and had been a betrayer.” “All the people I called friends are fucking leeches. Parasites. I will be returning back to Egypt, Mom, but not for long. I will be back. Stronger and better.” Cozbi just lay there, eyes shut, breathing slow and paced. Alex was not sure when she would wake up or if leaving her was the right decision. But he smelled danger. First of all, Vanessa had actually been around all those times, and then Megan, whom he thought was going to be his salvation, turned

“Sir! Someone is here to see you!” George, his right hand man said. Donald was raging. He had been grinding his teeth for days now. What was going on? Him, Donald Arthur, one of the most feared men in the city, lost a fight to his useless son and to a little girl. He felt like a laughingstock. He had built his empire with blood, sweat, and absolute ruthlessness. He had crushed men who dared to stand in his way. He had destroyed families without blinking. And now? He had lost to them? To a boy who once cowered before him and a girl he never even considered a threat? Unacceptable. His fingers curled into fists, his knuckles turning white as he forced himself to breathe. He had been grinding his teeth so much that his jaw ached. "Who is it?" Donald snapped, his voice sharp as a blade. George hesitated. "He… uh, he didn’t give a name, sir. But he said you'd want to see him." Donald exhaled sharply, rubbing his temples. "If this is another damn journalist or some lowlife trying

Alex’s body went numb for two reasons. Firstly, her stomach was bloated. Secondly, it was Vanessa. His eyes bulged out, and he looked to Megan, who gave him a sly smile. Finally, their eyes interlocked. Alex could breathe her anger. It was like he was standing next to a fire, a hot lava, and one push from an inauspicious wind could lead to an untimely death. “You!” he said to Megan before taking slow steps to his ex, who was not official. Finally, they were sharing the same oxygen and staring eyeball to eyeball. “V.. Vanessa. I… Look, I know that…” Slap! Alex held his face. He felt humiliated. But he had to try one more time. “Vanessa. Whatever you think is not true. I…” Slap! Slap again. Slap the fourth time. This got onlookers making videos of the lady slapping the man at the airport. Alex could do nothing. He was trapped. His security guards were not with him, and he was in an open space; he could not raise hand or voice against a pregnant woman. “5 months, Alex Reed. 5

It was, in fact, worsening. Alex thumped his head on the wall repeatedly. “I told her! I fucking told her! I fucking told her not to meet with Mr. Frost. Now she has a fucking heart attack.” Alex roared, curled his fist into a ball, and punched the wall. But it only left him with a pulverised hand. “She will be fine,” said Megan to comfort him. “Do not tell me she will be fine. It’s been two weeks now, and my mother had not even lifted a finger. I knew her coming to the UK was a big red flag. And you,” Alex continued, focusing his attention on Megan, “You knew she was going in to see Mr. Frost, that… that god… or whatever his fucking title is. Yet you not only approved of it, you even went in with her. All of that without my consent!” Alex roared. Then Megan stood up and walked to him. “Alex, do not
