Liana arrived at her house, slamming the door of her car as she hurriedly got inside the house which seemed empty she sat on the couch, removed the cheque from her purse resumed staring at it.

"Isn't life unfair? Useless Chris gave me a cheque of five million dollars." She muttered, heaving a sigh.

Richard, however, came out from the kitchen and found his wife staring at something he was curious to know. He leaned closer to her and found her holding onto a chequebook as if her life depended on it. "Five million dollars!?" He exclaimed.

Liana was startled and almost got a heart attack from immersing in shock. "Fuck you, Richard. You startled the hell out of me." She said with a deep frown on her face.

"Who the hell gave you a cheque of five million dollars?" Richard ignored her yells with undivided attention between him and the cheque she was holding.

Seeing that his curiosity was lingering on the cheque, Liana smirked. "I got myself a new lover, you see."

"You wouldn't dare." Richard
