Chris couldn't believe his ears when he heard his step-grandmother's room was opposite his. Why wasn't she staying with his grandfather? What does that old man have up his sleeves? Was he trying to set him up? A whirlwind of questions went through his head as he couldn't comprehend the gravity of the situation but he had to keep it low to avoid any suspicions from his grandfather. It'll be bad if his grandfather knows he has eyes for his wife. He might lose the company he just claimed at that moment so he had to keep it low and act like he wasn't interested in her even though he was.

He exchanged glances between her and the door behind her, still not believing the fact that they'd be the only ones staying on the third floor when it used to be just him. He'd wake up every day to catch a glimpse of her face when she was supposed to be with her grandfather. This was a total set up and he hated it.
