Some weeks passed and the chairman couldn't be contacted. Yue Wang was left disappointed about her failed marriage with the chairman while Christopher officially became CEO and resumed his duties.

He left his office to take a tour around the company even after Coldie had shown him around, he wanted to tour around by himself. The staff couldn't keep him out of their sight as they marveled about how charming and manly his appearance was and were glad he was their CEO since they could get a sight of him all the time.

Christopher didn't fail to notice the stares on him and whenever he turned to face them, they'd shift their gaze immediately, pretending to be working. A small chuckle escaped as he walked towards the secretary whose heartbeat accelerated at the sight of Chris and with the fact he was approaching her, her breath hitched.

He placed his arms on her desk, his gaze not leaving hers and he turned to examine every one of the workers. "Why are they few?"

"The others aren't back fro
