The Guilt Beneath The Shame

Larry was still at the luxury hotel's bar waiting for someone at a reserved vacant area. He was absentminded as he kept reeling on the coincidence from earlier. His father wanted him back. What does he want from him now? Larry couldn't put a finger on why his father wanted him and why he was in search of his son who he disowned years ago. His absentmindedness made him oblivious to the man who just pulled a seat and sat in front of Larry, sighing in exhaustion as he rested his hands on the table separating them.

The man raised his head and discovered that Larry wasn't even paying attention to him or even knowing about his presence. He snapped his fingers in front of Larry but to no avail. "Sir," the man stretched across the table and tapped Larry on his shoulders jolting the latter back to reality.

Larry was startled, he rubbed his temple tiredly. "I didn't see you coming."

"I came back immediately I saw you heading in." The man said with a small smile on his face as he rested his back
