Moore strolled into the company, wearing a black, faded suit that clung to him like a second skin. A wide grin adorned his face, indicating his confidence. However, as he neared his office, an unexpected encounter occurred—he collided with his manager, Lucas.
"Apologies, Mr. Lucas," Moore quickly offered.
"Have you lost your vision? How dare you bump into me? I wish I could cleanse myself of the filth you've brought upon me with a scorching bath," Nick spat, his anger flaring. Moore felt a surge of fury, ready to retaliate, but he restrained himself and responded calmly.
"I've already apologised for my mistake. We're all prone to errors as humans. I apologise once again," Moore said in a composed tone.
Lucas, however, refused to accept his apology. He glanced at the cup of tea in his hand, raised it, and intentionally poured it onto Moore's suit. Shocked, Moore's mouth gaped open, unprepared for such a behavior from his manager. Anger coursed through his veins.
"What the hell is wrong with you? I humbled myself, apologized, and intended to part ways peacefully, but you're only interested in causing trouble. You're nothing but a despicable devil!" Moore yelled, his voice reverberating with fury.
"Shut the hell up! How dare you speak to me like that, you useless fool!" Lucas snapped back, leaving Moore at a loss for words. Lucas nonchalantly leaned against the wall, propping his left leg against it.
"You know what would truly make my night wonderful? If your wife, Fiona, became mine. Honestly, Moore, she doesn't deserve the treatment you give her. You have a stunning wife, yet you fail to provide her with what she truly needs because you're nothing but a pathetic loser," Lucas stated, punctuating his words with mocking laughter.
Colleagues began to gather around, forming a circle, their giggles and laughter directed at Moore, their disdain for him palpable.
Moore seethed with anger at Lucas's hurtful words. While he acknowledged that his job might not be high-paying, he always strived to ensure his wife's comfort.
"You're wrong! Just stop it!" Moore shouted with newfound confidence.
"You don't know what you're talking about. The way you speak, it's as if you're rolling in money, when in reality, you barely scrape by each month, you useless, impoverished loser," Lucas jeered.
Infuriated, Moore lunged forward, clutching Lucas's shirt in a vice grip.
"I was telling the truth, sir. Please, believe me," Moore pleaded desperately.
"You've been causing trouble in this company every single day. What is wrong with you? It's as if you made it your mission to disturb the entire workplace before you were even hired!" the boss scolded in a fit of rage, while Moore's colleagues reveled in their amusement, sneering and scoffing at his predicament.
"I'm truly sorry, boss," Moore apologized, his voice filled with remorse.
"You don't have to be sorry, because I've had enough of that word from you. You talk a big game. I'm tired of it. You're fired. Collect your belongings and leave this place," the boss announced, leaving Moore in a state of shock. He had never anticipated that the consequences of his actions would result in losing his job. Moore dropped to his knees, desperately clinging to his boss's leg.
"Please, don't fire me, sir. This job is all I have. I beg for your forgiveness and a second chance," he pleaded. The boss remained silent for a few agonizing moments.
"If you wish to stay, there will be a condition," he revealed, prompting Moore to rise with a glimmer of hope in his eyes.
"What is the condition?" Moore inquired.
"The condition is that you must offer up your wife for the night, for her to spend it with me," he declared, a twisted smile stretching across his face. Moore's irritation and anger surged within him, and without thinking, he raised his hand and slapped his boss across the cheek. Moore couldn't believe he had done it—he was still in shock. Nevertheless, he forced a confident expression to mask his internal turmoil.
Both the boss and Moore's colleagues wore expressions of shock, their faces frozen in disbelief.

"How dare you ask for my wife? You're nothing but a pathetic fool!" Moore shouted in a fit of anger.
"You slapped me," the boss exclaimed, still processing the audacity of Moore's action.
"Yes, I did, and I'll continue to do so," Moore boldly retorted.
"Throw him out of this place now!" the boss screamed in fury. The people standing nearby swiftly rushed towards Moore, forcibly carrying him and ushering him out of the building, before unceremoniously throwing him to the ground outside.
As Moore lay there, his mind consumed by a mix of sadness and bitterness, he realized that his actions wouldn't restore his lost job."Ah," he thought, brushing off the dust from his suit.Just as Moore began to walk away, a sudden realization struck him."Dang! I almost forgot to get my Queen a birthday present," he muttered, coming to a halt and searching his pocket for money. To his surprise, he found only a hundred dollars."I guess this will have to do," he murmured once more, resuming his walk.Moore's eyes caught sight of a shop that boasted an array of women's products. Without hesitation, he dashed inside. He perused the shop, determined to find a perfume that fit within his limited budget. Unbeknownst to him, the shop manager had been observing Moore's constant scrutiny and subsequent rejection of items based on their price tags.Unable to contain her mounting frustration any longer, she rose from her seat and approached Moore, annoyance etched on her face."What's going on?
Moore walked in, his eyes filled with tears, and called out to Fiona. The cheaters immediately stopped their actions, their guilty expressions evident."What is going on here? Why is this man on my bed and you with him? I bought a gift for you" Moore stated, his voice surprisingly calm, though his heart was battling to accept the painful reality.Fiona's mind raced, torn between her husband and the allure of wealth and power. She turned to the man, who awaited her decision, anger simmering within her. One thing was certain. She had already made her choice and it wasn’t Moore."What else do you want me to say!? You’ve seen it all already" Fiona slammed. She used the back of her hand to wipe the sweat on her face while the other man caressed his hand on her arm gently."Please, tell me this is all just a terrible dream," Moore pleaded, hoping against hope for an alternate reality."Snap out of your delusions, Moore. This is the harsh reality," Fiona yelled at him in anger, her lover, Fr
Everybody was shocked including Moore who was looking dumbfounded."I don't think he knows what he is saying, how in the world will he say that in front of everybody. It should be a slip of tongue." Moore concluded in his mind and kept a straight face."What did I just hear this old man say?." Lucas asked in surprise."You don't have to worry, I know he only said that in order to make him feel better before paying his bills." Jack said and rolled his eyes."You are actually right, let's see how he would pay for everything." Lucas underrated, they smiled.Mr Gilbert looked at Moore and saw how hard he was trying to hide his feelings but he knew better than he does.He gently placed his left hand on his shoulders. "Let's go into my car to discuss better." He whispered into his ears, Moore tilted his neck to face him."Are you serious about what you said a few minutes ago?." Moore asked for clarification, he gave out a smile."Yes everything I said is nothing but the truth, that's why I'
Moore rolled on the luxurious bed with a blissful smile on his face, he stood up and rested his back against the pillow. He looked around the beautiful room."Moore, wake up from your dream right now. You have to wake up, get ready for today's insults, pleads and pay your debts." He screamed loudly.Suddenly, his phone started ringing. He smiled and took it from the bedside stool."This is not a dream, it is real." He shouted and checked who the caller was. It was from the bank, he picked it immediately and placed it against his ear."Good morning." He greeted with a soft voice."Don't greet me Mr Moore. We loaned you some money a few weeks ago and you are yet to pay us back. You always cut the call whenever we call you. Today is the deadline for the payment, if you refuse to pay it then you will be arrested by the police." The woman yelled at him and ended the call right away without giving him a chance to say anything.Moore ran his fingers through his hair."I loaned 1000 dollars f
Mr Bright looked at Moore in confusion."A rich guy transferred 100 million dollars to his beloved grandson yesterday as a birthday gift. What if this person standing here is the grandson, I'm not sure he is this one but I need to confirm." He thought deeply, he took a deep breath and looked at Moore. "Are you Moore Jackson?." He asked."No, why are you asking?." Moore replied sharply, he denied his name in front of everyone. Mr Bright's face expression changed immediately."Thank God he is not the one, let's deal with this in a proper way." Mr Bright muttered under his breath, gnashing his teeth. He looked at Moore with a hateful look."Where is your card?." He requested, Moore shoved his hand into his pocket and brought out the card, then he handed it over to him.Mr Bright collected it and threw it away at once."There is no way 100 million dollars will be in this card. Are you trying to play with us? Look Mr we have a lot of work and customers to deal with. Please just step out o
The manager heard Moore's phone rang, and he faced him."How dare he put his phone on ring when the president is here?." The clerk whispered, Mr Bright heard it and spoke up."Turn down the sound of your phone, what if it disturbs the honorable guest? You have caused more than enough trouble already so don't add to it." Mr Bright yelled at him."You can't tell me what to do Mr manager." Moore snapped and rolled his eyes before picking you up the call."You don't talk to me like that, you this useless fellow." Mr Bright yelled back at him, Mr Ford wasn't paying attention to their conversation as he was expecting the honorable guest to pick up his call."I will leave your bank after receiving this call, I have had enough of the insult." Moore said in anger and picked the call."Hello." Mr Ford said, his voice came out of Moore's phone because he put it on a loud speaker, everybody was shocked. Moore gave out a small smile and sneered."That means I am that honorable guest." Moore said
Mr Ford rolled his eyes and faced Moore, he turned a deaf ear to their pleas."Please let's go into my office." He said to Moore. He nodded and followed him. They stopped in front of an office, a tag was attached to the door, 'The President's Office' was ascribed on it. Mr Ford opened the door, Moore went in and he followed."Take your seat Mr Moore." He offered, Moore sat down, then he proceeded to his seat and also sat down."I am very sorry for the way you were treated today." "They are both irresponsible, how can they treat a customer that way? I don't know what would have happened if you weren't there." "I am sorry once again." He apologized again."It's fine." Moore replied and rested his back against the chair."I have already made your golden card." Mr Ford informed, he paused and opened his drawer, then he brought it out."Here is it." He said stretching it out to him, Moore collected it and smiled. He checked it out one million times. He has never imagined that he would se
Moore's eyes turned red as he heard all that Fiona said to everyone. He felt a thorn in his heart."I can't believe Fiona could say all these after everything I have done for her. I was the foolish one." Moore muttered with a clenched jaw.He was about to say something when he heard Sam's voice."Why did you have to speak ill of someone who trained you to where you are? You should be called the useless one here, not Moore." Sam snapped at her."Moore did everything possible just for you to be better than him, you got everything and all you could think of was to write him off and break up with him. You are a big fool Fiona." Eric yelled at her in anger."I don't blame you, I blame Moore for everything. If only he listened to us then, then you won't be able to insult him the way you did. We don't even want a job from a scum like you Fiona." Bethel shouted and spit on her.Fiona was very angry at what was said to her."They are not even afraid of the position I am in. I won't let this sl
