Chapter Sixty Three

Alex ended the call with Yvonne, his mind swirling with possibilities and uncertainties. He walked back to the living room where Sarah was waiting, the movie paused on the screen.

“What did Yvonne say?” she asked, her curiosity evident.

“She’s got a potential business opportunity,” Alex replied, sinking into the couch beside her. “It could either really help us out or pose some serious competition.”

Sarah raised an eyebrow. “What kind of opportunity?”

“She’s working on a business model similar to ours, but with a different twist. She wants to meet and discuss the details, maybe even consider a partnership,” Alex explained.

Sarah considered this for a moment. “A partnership could be beneficial, but it could also complicate things. What do you think?”

“I’m not sure,” Alex admitted. “It’s intriguing, but I’m apprehensive. What if it doesn’t work out? Or worse, what if she decides to compete instead?”
