Chapters 8

"It is an honor to act as a means of revenge on your behalf, senior," I said to the other person. Vanya's mouth split into a broad grin, and she quickly lowered her head and accepted the mission in the manner in which it was delivered to her.

She did not wait any longer and immediately opened the small vial, poured the contents into her mouth, and then proceeded to consume the entirety of it in a single swift motion. She did not wait any longer.

Shila!

When suddenly, a great gust of wind started up, and loud whooshing sounds reverberated across the region, everyone who was on the training ground was practically frightened. Some of the players were so terrified that they started to run away from the arena.

If one had the ability, they would have been able to see that what appeared to be swirling winds engulfing Vanya's entire body from head to toe were, in fact, waves of mana surrounding her in a cocoon-like fashion.

The tiny droplets of liquid that were contained within the vial were responsible for dismantling her body from head to toe and rebuilding her meridian pathways, blood vessels, bones, muscles, tendons, ligaments, and every inch of her fleshly body. This was accomplished by removing the liquid from the vial.

In comparison to these few droplets of liquid that were confined in the vial, Vanya's subpar alchemical concoction was like a drop in the ocean. The first one was worthless, but the second one was, to a lesser extent, an elixir from heaven. The first one was worthless.

Nevertheless, the most significant part was that if this quest was successfully finished, it would represent the beginning of the process of gaining the fabled blood elixir of the best possible quality. Because of this, Vanya had settled on starting with this particular group of missions and had assigned them a higher priority than any of the others she had been given.

The physical being of a person was the most fundamental aspect of who they were. It served as the basis upon which everything else was built, and it was the primary focus of the construction.

In the absence of a vessel that was perfect, everything else, including the mind, soul, and mana core, would crumble. It is impossible to place an adequate amount of emphasis on the necessity of maintaining control of one's body.

And when the mana cocoon was eventually shattered, Vanya emerged from it, her body having gone through a significant transformation as a result of the transformation. She gave the impression of being a totally different person from the very top of her head to the very bottom of her feet. Her appearance was strikingly dissimilar.

Her eyes were long and pointed, like blades, and contained pitch-black orbs that gave the impression that they held the entirety of the universe within them. Her eyes were also very pale.

She had a full head of beautiful, jet-black hair that flowed elegantly in the gentle breeze she was exposed to. Her skin appeared as smooth as newly fallen snow, and there was not a single blemish or scar in sight anywhere on it.

Her body, which had been little more than a bag of skin and bones until recently, all of a sudden developed distinct muscles. Her slim figure gave the impression that it had been skillfully sculpted in order to achieve the ideal aesthetic.

In spite of the fact that at first glance she appeared to be the same, all of the imperfections that had been present on her body had been eliminated, leaving behind a flawless appearance.

Vanya, who had earlier presented the impression of being a terrified stray dog, now possessed the charisma and attraction of an immortal being bestowed upon them by the gods.

Vanya showed her happiness by clicking her tongue to communicate her contentment. "If there is such a thing as a perfect start, then this would be it."

She laughed uncontrollably despite the fact that everyone else who was present on the training ground looked at her in complete disbelief, unable to comprehend what had just taken place. She couldn't believe what had just taken place, but she couldn't help but laugh.

The idiot, who had been behaving in a peculiar manner by making erratic movements and hitting weird positions, had all of a sudden been given a puzzling assignment, and he had undergone some kind of miraculous transformation.

They were even able to sense a dominant and aggressive aura surging from her; it was an aura that reeked of unadulterated strength and power. The aura was rushing from her at a rapid pace.

Unfortunately, not a single one of them made any contributions; all of them only observed the proceedings. As the unbelievable scene continued to play out in front of them, all they could do was watch it with their mouths agape and their jaws on the ground. They were completely speechless.

"Ah! You are indeed a genius!" The instructor clapped his hands as a sign of approval and gazed adoringly into the student's eyes to express his feelings.

"I am appreciative of your wisdom, elder. Also, would it be possible for me to count on your assistance in choosing a class to take?" Vanya's inquiry was delivered in a casual tone as she picked her rusted sword from the ground.

Following that, the two of them engaged in some conversation for a time, and then walked into the training hall, leaving everyone else in the aftermath absolutely dumbfounded. What the heck is happening exactly this very second? Do I have it correct that we haven't even started the contest yet?

"Woooah! Sister, have you had the chance to look at that?" The space marine known as Vlad pounded his fist into the palm of his hand.

"I am present alongside you, Vlad, and I am armed with eyes. I am also standing very close to you at this same moment. What kind of ideas do you have?" Zee whispered something under her breath while she was distracted.

"Ah. Alright. Let's not be cowards; let's keep up with her and find out which course she enrolls in. There is a possibility that she will receive an invitation to attend a class that is kept a secret."

The three individuals entered the training room at the precise moment that the doors to the training room were abruptly and forcefully closed, as the instructor had just finished communicating something to the security personnel located adjacent to the training room, and at that very moment, the doors to the training room were closed.

"What the devil could possibly be going on?"

"Just get it done. Let us inside!"

"Do you have any idea why they are treating you with such favoritism?"

A few yells could be heard coming from outside, but the guards closed the doors in an apathetic manner, as if they were utterly ignorant to the players who had gathered outside in the meantime.

"Just miss!" As the three of them followed Vanya and the instructor into the training hall, where the examination area was located, Vlad wiped the sweat off his forehead as they walked after them. Vanya and the instructor were heading in that direction.

Naturally, there were already a few players wandering around the training hall looking for a spot. These players had arrived earlier in the day in order to take an aptitude test and choose a class for later on in the day. As a result, it was not an absolute lockdown; yet, it was effective in stopping further people from gathering.

On the other hand, Vanya did not allow herself to become anxious about these things in any way. It was practically impossible for her to keep a low profile as a result of everything she had planned, and she lacked the time to be concerned with any of these extraneous particulars.
