This process went on for 5 hours and Blaze felt every cell of his body filled with black and golden lightning, fighting for supremacy and destroying it in the process. His blood and marrow, everything was getting incinerated by the lightning, and he even wondered how he was even alive as his consciousness was hanging by a thread like his wings that were literally incinerated as only a body structure was left behind because of every feather getting destroyed by the lightning.

{It just let me come to a conclusion that those feathers are not the ones that are keeping me afloat, but the structure itself is helping me in doing that.}
