The expedition stayed in the arena for over two days before Maria came back and told others what she found. Unfortunately, she still didn't have any clue about the phylactery.

"There is a giant cavern system after this arena, and there are countless monsters in that cavern system, ranging from the oxyaizl to giant skeleton monster."

Kenneth heard her describing each monster they would encounter if they took that path and said, “That should be the last area of the dungeon.”

Everyone turned toward him, wanting to know why he said that.

"The fact that a death knight was guarding the entrance and that the death energy started getting concentrated in there tells me that the Lich must be in there."

"Tell me, did you feel the death energy getting concentrated the more you travelled further in?"

Maria nodded as she had that feeling of creepiness and death the further she travelled in. Now she knew what had caused it.

"There was a door which two giant skeletons were guarding."

Everyone nodded.
