As Devon had explained, guns and lasers blitzed them successively during their races on the field full of traps like an impregnable dungeon.

But it was no dungeon, but a straight path in front of them with invisible traps that appeared without shouting guard, as in racing games.

The good news for them was that no one had trouble adapting to the new virtual space after they connected.
