The real culprit.

I looked at her with astonishment, no longer knowing how to react to her mysterious fit of anger. The most surprising thing is that she had already formed a frosted web under her feet while she was herself inside the white brambles that are made of ice; ice Thorns?! This noble and white look that was devoid of a single task she had was probably called 'pure coldness', an irreproachable thorny beauty that no one could dream of achieving.

This power... is it possible that this girl plays with me from the beginning, hiding her strength from me? Sigh, in short, the essential, and that I am still 'alive'.

The maid whose name I had just learned, huddled against herself with her trembling shoulders....she cries?! But, well, it's her bad luck to have such a psychopath as her mistress.

Even if I don't know what she meant by 'complete her collection', I can guess the cruelty of this punishment just by seeing the frightened eyes of this maid who has a...cute look?

How ironic it is, I feel influenced by her and her sadism; since I started to find the expressions of frightened people...cute?! I just need to...

"Kyahhh~!" Sofia, who seemed to cry, moaned suddenly with an erratic red face, surprising even myself, who appreciated her bad luck.

But more importantly, these lascivious red eyes, this euphoric redness on her cheeks... why do I have a bad feeling towards this girl...?

As I began to frown, hearing the hot moans of this servant, she knelt in front of her mistress and began to beg her in a salacious tone.

"Please, mistress~, punish me~ hit me! Abuse me~~~!"

What is...?!!

"Let me go, obsessed maid!" Before this maid could continue her supplications, one of Evelyne's white thorns stabbed Sofia's abdomen, almost killing her in front of me. Then, she cleaned Sofia's red blood on her flawless face with a subtle smile.

"Your punishment will be for later, Sofia. For now, give me the reason for your intrusion into my room." She pronounced these words in a neutral tone after our two eyes crossed. Even if it was barely noticeable, I could see, for the first time, the soft smile on her lips.

That, what....?! What's wrong with them?! First, a sadist mistress, who enjoys making people suffer, and now a masochist maid who enjoys suffering?! Is it a good idea to leave these two together? I guess it's not a bad idea at last. And why does she say that her punishment will be for after even though she has just killed her?

But the most worrying thing is my case.

Even though I had seen her smile several times, it was the first time I felt that her frightening smile was the most beautiful smile I had ever seen!

I believe that I also am starting to have a serious problem; now that I can give free rein to my emotions... these show me my true nature that I had always hidden in the depths of my soul.

Sofia's playful voice, which was supposed to be ordinarily dead, soon woke me up in my amazement. "Milady, it's the viscount’s son, Alfred Vermillon; he is waiting for you in the living room." I could see the stoic air around her as she stammered these words.

"Tsk, tell him to go f*ck; I'm not interested in a guy whose ego is as high as the sky but as fragile as a cardboard castle." She replied in a nonchalant tone, who could not hide her troubles.

"Lady Evelyne, you have more than reached the legal age to have a companion by your side; as the only daughter of one of the four dukes of the main branch, you must bind yourself to a man; otherwise, you will risk sinking into a deep sleep because of your abnormal powers!"

"..." Seeing her quiet, Sofia did not give up. "Anyway, you know Sir Alfred's behavior; he won't leave until he meets you!" She continued her sentence, trying to convince her mistress.

It seems that this man, named Alfred, is one of her pursuers.

I can't believe it. Is there really someone running behind this girl? Are vampires so abnormal?? In short, it's a problem that concerns them; I don't need to meddle in their stories.

Someone who wants this sadist as a wife must not be an average person; it must be a male Sofia. I'm absolutely not going to meet another masochist. Sofia's shock was too heavy to take;

I said to myself while lying on the princess's bed, not worrying about Sofia's crazy eyes that bloody gazed at me

"Alright, give him a cup of tea while waiting for me to arrive." She spoke these words between her clenched teeth.

Then, seeing her like that, a soft smile emerged on my lips; 'good job Alfred'. I said to myself, appreciating her bad luck with delight. Even if I don't know why I appreciate her misfortune, I know it was a good thing that I was like that rather than being a masochist like Sofia.

But when Sofia went out into the room, I could feel chills throughout my body. "You're going to accompany me to the living room." She says in a soft tone that cools my veins.

Tsk, it was a mistake to stay here; I should have gotten away from her!

Even if it was the first time I heard a voice so gently, the experience was not pleasant. "Me? Accompanying you? Why would I do that?" I frowned, guessing her intentions. I don't want to be used as a shield against a vampire! It's not fear, but I didn't want to bring more problems to my ma when I went home. I read about them that they are a very resentful species.

"If you help me, I will help you in return." But when I heard her pronounce these words, my mocking smile froze on my lips.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked with a frown... one thing was for sure, this woman knew how to bait me. Knowing that the thing I needed most was her help, she did not hesitate to exchange it for this service; it could only mean one thing, I would not be a simple man who would serve as a bodyguard. She wanted to use me as a shield; I was right.

She sat on the floor while supporting her head with her palms while her elbows were against the mattress and looked at me with her eyes arched by the demoness smile on her lips, like a prey who had come to indulge in her worst predator, even if it was perhaps... my case.

"I don't know how I can help you as long as you tell me what you want." She said while always keeping her erratic smile on her lips. From what I understood while listening to Sofia's words, this miss is the daughter of one of the four great dukes; in other words, she is probably a noble vampire. So if she can't get rid of her pursuers, it's perhaps because of her parents who also force her.

Having the favors of a vampire of the high nobility is a good idea; I could use her to resolve many future problems.

In short, all I have to do is play the role. No one will recognize me anyway. "Well, you'll know when the time comes," I say as I get up on the bed. But reality struck me in the face, and she also seemed to realize the same problem we were facing; I was torso naked, and my hoodie was in tatters!

"Are you now realizing the mistake you made?" When I asked her this question, she turned her eyes away with a 'humph'.

"Who cares about this detail? You have your stockings, right? So where is the problem?"

"No, I would definitely not go out in this room in this state," I say, lying my back on the bed’s head. My categorical refusal did not surprise her; contrary, it was as if she expected it.

She immediately went to her wardrobe and took out a black shirt with a bib collar. I immediately frowned when I saw this familiar black shirt that looked like two drops of water, like the shirt I had had as my mother's birthday gift, which had mysteriously disappeared just three months after my birthday. Sigh, what am I thinking of? It's not like she's stealing my clothes and personal belongings that mysteriously disappeared in my bedroom, right?' I said to myself, grabbing the pope's shirt, which had the same dragon pattern on its back as mine.

Hm? Why is it the same button in the middle that is missing? And why is this white stain that this assh*le John Maxwells put on my shirt present on this one?

"Miss Evelyne... where does this shirt come from?" I asked her with a frown.

"Huh? Hnn...why are you concerned about this useless detail? It's just a shirt I found in front of the fence of my house." She replied with an embarrassed look that I could see for the first time.

You sucked my blood; you tore my hoodie, making me almost have a heart attack. And yet, you never looked embarrassed. Thank you, dear Evelyne, you confirmed my suspicion; this shirt...is my lost shirt!

Why is my shirt in her wardrobe? While she was opening this wardrobe, I thought I had seen it badly, but now I'm sure I saw my sky-black Chuck-Taylor in this wardrobe. When a frightening thought appeared in my subconscious, I slowly walked toward the closet. A single idea occupied my subconscious; I must absolutely drive this hypothesis away from my mind. And for that, I had to have a clear heart!

For her part, she did not have time to stop me because she had looked away so that I did not suspect her condition; at the same time, I also discovered that she had not known how to lie well, despite her age. But she didn't know how much of great help it was to me. I'm just going to take a stealthy look; it's rude to look into the affairs of others, but I didn't care about this minor detail.

Slowly but surely, I opened the wardrobe’s door.

"Ohh, sh*t!" At that moment, I regretted my decision. I had never understood this saying that ignorance is a luxury and that we will only know its importance when it is no longer possible to have it!

In front of me, if my closet looked like a mini-library of Dracula, this wardrobe looks like a museum exhibiting Kasel Snow's personal belongings; since he started high school! My cap, my Boxer, my headphones... Hah!! Even my f*cking favorite black socks are here?!!! You have to calm down, Kasel; they look like your personal belongings, but it's not the case; why will your personal belongings end up with such a sadistic psychopath? You will die of anxiety if it ever happens.

Well, I was sure of that. I am not a criminal but someone who is accused of the crimes of another; I was able to confirm this hypothesis when my eyes crossed those of the scarlet eyes of the real culprit. This extreme redness that made escaped hot smoke above her head, her lips that move several times without being able to pronounce a single sentence... the culprit was with me from the beginning!

But for now, I don't know if it's a good idea to ask a question about this scandal! I'm afraid to learn something else that will give me a worse headache than now.

I slowly locked the wardrobe as if she hadn't seen me. "Ahem, let's pretend I haven't seen what I just saw; are you okay?" I asked her after clear one’s my throat. It was something that would suit us all. "Of course, I'm counting on you to give me some explanations." I continued my sentence with a peaceful smile. Instead of frustration, I felt the relief of learning that she is the cause of all these things that happen to me.

I don't hate my current state, but what I didn't like was the mystery surrounding this story. Now that the mole is identified, there is no need to be nervous about it anymore; I am an excellent vampire fanatic, so why would I be frustrated to become one of them? But the thing that worries me is this girl! Her unstable emotions make me want to escape her as quickly as possible.

"I would explain if you want to, but can we go out first? Sofia must no longer be able to hold back this boring guy." She offered me this compromise in a fly voice.

I nod my head in agreement with her. Then, she took a new purple cape to the other wardrobe and put it on this cape. Then, she took out a pair of knee-high boots white from the drawer of the cabinet, and finally...

"How do you think about me?" She asked me with her most beautiful smile.

"...ravishing...?" Honestly, I didn't have clear ideas to make compliments. Even if I looked like someone calm from the outside, I had cyclone questions in my heart. Knowing that it was not the right time for that, I will make sure to move her away from this masochist named Alfred to have a peaceful conversation with her!

Seeing her with the subtle, strange smile she had since my compliment, I furtively glanced at her, dressed in her dark halter dress, her dark purple cape, and her white knee-high boots in front of me... coupled with her long snow-white hair and her bloody red pupils, she was like an untouchable goddess.

"We go upstairs?" She asked me.

"Wait a minute." I went to my museum and wore my white sneakers with black soles that I had missed so much.

"We can leave now," I then say with a mischievous smile at the stealer vampire.

Honestly, I wish it was pure stealing. But just by seeing the size of this villa through the outdoor cameras... I can guess that its wealth far exceeds the wealth of the last ten generations of my family; if I remove my father, who had a mysterious job.

(But after his disappearance, all the money he had with him vanished. Tsk, it's a boring little story that I wouldn't say I like to talk about too much; personally, I'm not convinced of his death and that of my sister.)

It wasn't that we were ultra-poor; it was just this girl who seemed ultra-rich!

"Now I am ready, ready to be a victim; for the second and last time," I tell him with a teasing smile, without worrying about her sadism!

And that's how I discovered that this girl, Evelyne Bloodheart, probably orchestrated my turning into a vampire and, at the same time, found the thief who made me live a hell thinking I had a ghost in my bedroom.
