CHAPTER 12

The next morning, Gary had breakfast in his grandfather's mansion. It was really the first time in many years he was having such large breakfasts. The previous years had honestly been tough for him.

He made his way down the grand staircase, admiring the ornate chandelier that hung above the foyer.

As he entered the dining room, he was taken aback by the grandeur of the space. The room was vast and filled with natural light, streaming in from the large windows that overlooked the perfectly manicured gardens outside. The table was laid out with crisp white linen, and there were elaborate flower arrangements placed at regular intervals

Not that alone, but the table was large enough unlike that of the Larson's and that brought back some memories. Where he could vividly remember how badly he was treated when it got to meals.

Throughout the time he was married to Sandra, he never in his entire life ate at the dinning, it was either at the kitchen or in his bedroom.
