CHAPTER 155

Grabbing the last unconscious thug by his leg and dragging him to the vehicle, Adrian smirked at Jeremy and then threw him with the others in the backseat of the car.

A low groan escaped from the bruised up thugs as they laid over each other, unable to even speak for themselves let alone try to escape or attack any of them.

“You should text the boss to come out.” Adrian told his son, slamming the car door shut.

The silence in Gary’s room broke when Gary’s phone chimed, causing him to look away from Mrs Gilbert and focus on his phone screen.

“Please excuse me. I got to head out,” Gary said as he woke from his bed, shoving his phone into his pocket.

As he was about to walk past Mrs Gilbert, feeling disheartened, her voice stopped him, “Do not make me regret this, Gary… regret choosing you for my daughter.”
