CHAPTER 22

Gary sat at his desk staring blankly at the stack of papers in front of him. He had been trying to focus on work, but his mind was preoccupied with the recent loss of his grandfather.

He had always been close to his grandfather, and the news of his passing had hit him hard. He hadn't been able to concentrate on anything since the funeral, and it was beginning to affect his work.

Right there in the office, he merely looked like a figurehead, with nothing at all in his thoughts for commencing on the day's work.

As he sat there lost in thought, his Winfield had walked im to deliver the company's new budget which would require Gary sorting out new things that needed to either be included or removed according to the company's account, but then Gary had just signed all without separating or specifying.

The next day, Gary received an urgent call from Winfield.

Mr Gary, we have a problem. You signed the wrong document yesterday, and it's causing a lot of issues," he said in a panicked voice
