Gary watched as the man handed over the pendant, his heart racing with excitement. The piece of jewellery was exquisite, a glittering gold chain adorned with a diamond-encrusted pendant that sparkled in the light. He could hardly believe that a mere necklace could amount to something reasonable as getting connected to murder.

Truth be told, he had always watched stuff like that on the TV but never seen such in real life before. Witnessing this was kind of a situation, let alone being a victim in the situation.
