Yuan was dragged inside the barracks. He can hear them say in English and Yuan was hearing them. With the sackcloth on his face, he can only hear their murmurs and can't see a thing. He observed that there was a gate that has opened. He heard that someone said, "A new one!? Splendid!". It was then followed by a loud laugh.

They entered the gate and he was still dragged by two soldiers. All he can observe was the white lights that they were passing on the ceiling. They went to one of the rooms which were too dark to see.

Yuan was in the darkroom and the sackcloth was not even helping. He was put on a chair and he can hear that the door was shut and locked from the outside.
