So, how will I dispel the character from the paper?

I thought about a few theories:

1. Do it the same way as with a normal paper. I thought about an eraser, as the group said a giant eraser was their main enemy.
2. Write "erase all previous sentences" or a similar thing on it, so I can rollback to a previous version of the paper.
3. Mix the paper with water, and just make new paper with it. Technically a change of shape could possibly make it a new entity. Even if the ink was absorbed, if it still has a physical form, maybe water could get it out.
