Part 1: Time Flies
After I gave their message to their god, the Church never contacted me again, and I didn't try to either.
I focused on getting merit and increasing my rank.
In that endeavor, the time I spent previously researching the content of my proposal was well worth it. I probably wouldn't have been able to get to where I am in such a short time otherwise.
Eventually, humanity became too developed to keep her ashes safe.
They were likely to discover there were ashes inside the pot at some point, and use part of them to date the pot.
The first part wasn't long enough to make it a separate chapter, but the whole was long enough for it to be a double chapter.
The second part felt like the most natural chapter to write so far. It flowed so smoothly I didn't even notice I wrote it. This was planned so early I didn't even write the chapter these characters started in when they were already written from start to end.
