A portal appeared, and from it entered Tanya.

She came to visit.

Since their marriage over 5 years ago, they have had 3 kids.

That was one year of pause between each, truly a productive household.

In this whole world, there was a single house, which made it easy to see their living place from far away.

As she approached the house, Tanya saw two of the kids.

The oldest was soon to be 5, and their second child, their daughter, had already celebrated her third birthday a few months ago.

Both were playing outside.

The parents probably had their hands full with the youngest child. He was

Don't make too many half-assed conclusions with the name Helen. Her story is definitely different from greek mythology, but I like the parallel, and I think it's a great name. Anyway, this was the last after-story! With that, the volume 9 is officially closed! I'll take a break. I think I won't write for 20 days at least, and I'll see if it ends up being a full month. At the time of writing this, we are the 9th, at 2am. So you can assume there will in all cases be 4-5 days less to wait.

Somehow it seems that the author's notes weren't published alongside the chapters, so my announcements weren't read. In two points: 1) I've been taking a break for two weeks now. I had a week written before I took my break so you only saw one. I think I'll take another week before getting to volume 10. 2) I have a discord. I don't know if all plugs just happened to not ve there or something but here it is: discord.gg/nave7mrkqd Now I still need over a 100 words so I'll thank everyone for reading this until now! Love y'all! Fk still missing three.

  • Give me a word I'll make a world   Volume 10 - re:D.D. (1) - Devil

A/N: I already talked about it before, this is a rewrite of volume 8, it will go further than the original too, with the goal of using way more of the potential of the story. I am Grigorij Rasputin. My name is a bit strange, but its close resemblance with the name of a historical figure is the only specificity I have. I am pretty much ordinary. Well, maybe I do have one thing that stands out besides my name: my parents. As far as I can remember, they were always a strange bunch. But they are a successful strange bunch. It's been a full year since I last saw them. I don't really know what kind of job they have, which did lead to some awkward moments in

  • Give me a word I'll make a world   Volume 10 - re:D.D. (2) - Angel

I wake up. Today is a Saturday, and as such there was nothing for me to wake up for. I took full advantage of this resting day, and the light coming from the window indicates to me it is long past dawn. What welcomes me this morning is an unfamiliar sight. The sight of two faces leaned over my face. -Good morning. Soon after I open my eyes, both voices greet me lightly. For a few seconds, I say nothing. I still need to understand the situation. Then, as I'm still struggling to understand what's happening, I answer: -Good morning. It was

  • Give me a word I'll make a world   Volume 10 - re:D.D. (3) - Harmony

Right as the devils were about to present me their first choice, they suddenly disappeared. I do not know how or why, but it seems there is an existence interfering with their actions. It could be good for the world, or it could not be, whichever it is depends on how well they can be interfered with and how annoying it is to them. If the interference is limited and they are very annoyed, it might actually fasten the Earth's doom by having them act out of anger. I only make choices, so while I select the direction, they are the ones who are responsible for tracing the path. If they both want to accelerate Earth's doom, they will. Anyway, I don't need to think any more than this. I leave my room, and get down to the kitche

I wake up with the sight of the ceiling.I take my phone to look at my notifications. It's 10 am.I was originally intent on spending a few minutes on my phone, but after moving a bit, I notice the two devils I met yesterday are not far from me, idling away.Today is only the second day since I ended up in this situation. Or with the interruption yesterday, it could be said to be the first.-Hey, he woke up!-Oh, yeah, he did! They both come to me.It seems that for some reason they waited for me to wake up rather than directly waking me up. Could I use that and try to sleep for 24 hours? I'd need to stay awake for quite a while, so I

This Sunday, I set my alarm clock to 8 am. I have nothing planned, but I want to see how early the angels come to see me. And they are here. -Good morning! -Go- -So what is it today? I cut their greetings short. If it has to happen, I might as well cut short anything unnecessary. -How hasty! I ignore the comment. The angel who said that comes to my left, while the other goes to my right. It seems like they truly enjoy being in this position. At

  • Give me a word I'll make a world   New release rate

Hey! So I took a while to think about things a bit, and my rate will go from 7 chapters a week to 4 chapters a week for this novel. Before you boo me, please read my reasons. It's simple: -Around 7 chapters a week is my limit -I want to last for a while with three novels in my hands -Want to better split the amount of content I produce. Still, I couldn't bring myself to bring down the release rate of this novel too much, and it is still a fact that it is way easier for me to write than the two others, which makes it also way less taxing to write regular chapters. So I decided to keep the majority of the week, so 4 chapters a week, for this novel, and split the rest between the two others. I

  • Give me a word I'll make a world   Volume 10 - re:D.D. (6) - Time

I have been reading on my smartphone for a few hours now. I had the time to check the news and the latest releases of a few of my favorite pieces of fiction. Not all are released daily, and not all are released in a chapter-per-chapter format, or even on the same platform, but nowadays, most of what you read can be bought in electronic format. I am a bookworm, but I do not own more than a few books. But there is a reason for this. While I do entertain unrealistic thoughts, like dreams or escapism, things that are common to about everyone, I also am not one to be overly attached to the paperback format. If I am able to read as well, if not better, on a phone than with a physical book, why waste both space and energy unnecessarily? Anyway, getting back to the matter at hand, I hear footsteps coming from the stairca

I put down my stuff, and join her after-school snack. -Oh, by the way, wanna eat something particular today? I turn around. It was my voice, but it didn't come from me. • Volume 10 - re:D.D. (24) - Stupid

Fuck! Fuck fuck fuck… I'm late! Who thought I'd sleep through my alarm clock… I hurry up, get dressed, and leave my room. I'm late by almost 4 hours. As I get down the stairs, I seriously consider the utility of actually going. I have about 6 hours and a half of courses in the day. Minus 4 hours it makes it down to 2 and a half. Minus the time to eat, and the 30 minutes to walk all the way there, it would eat 1 more hour into it. In the end, is it worth walking 1 hour in total to have 1 hour and a half of courses?

    Volume 10 - re:D.D. (23) - Troublesome

How troublesome… Lately, it seemed to be the only thought getting through his mind. As the Secretary of Defense of the United States, he was supposed to have some level of authority, but, with the recent events, things had too much of a tendency to be out of his hands. With supernatural matters that could threaten national security visible to the public, he felt like he visited the President's desk more than his own. It could almost be seen as enough to warrant the creation of a highly secure internal mailing system, if such a system wasn't deemed to be eventually broken through. In fact, it could be observed that he was seen in the White House than the cans of coke the president kept drinking. Today was no different.

  • Volume 10 - re:D.D. (21) - A Better World

She wasn't feeling much. In fact, both her senses and awareness were limited, for she was currently part of a gigantic mass of flesh. She was right at the center. Maybe it was because her individuality was slowly disappearing, but she had a small moment of clarity. Right as her zombie part was slowly integrating into a greater consciousness, her human side, which had disappeared ever since she became a zombie, reappeared. As her reason came back, it was hit with a truckload of memories, and she was met with horror. It wasn't just what she became or what she did, but also where she was. She could only see darkness, she could hear nothing, she could only feel a wriggling wall of flesh all around, as if she was bathing in it.

    Volume 10 - re:D.D. (20) - The Wave of Change

A/N: I didn’t notice, but I took my break right on the 100k words mark! Anyway, here is the chapter! As the day was going, it didn't take long for me to know that nothing was done about the zombies. Seeing how difficult my choices are becoming, it is likely that my sister is faced with considerably difficult choices too. Preventing negative consequences might not be the best way to deal with things. Sometimes, doing a trade-off might be better. Of course, I have no way to know if my sister also has choices and not another form of using her angels, but it doesn't change the fact that I trust her ability to pick the best path. If she decided that sacrificing Sydney was necessary, then I trust her. While I might be a bit short-sighted, I believe she has t

  • Some news

Over the past 4 days, today included, which is when I usually write this novel in the week, I've not written anything. I've been a bit out of it lately, and while I've had reason to attribute it to fatigue up to now, as I was genuinely constantly tired, I've had time to sleep more since then, and I'm still not better. Overall, I feel a lack of inspiration, and a lack of will to do anything. I've still been able to pump out quite a few good chapters, but I think I reached the limit. I know it sounds sudden, but I'm going to take a break for a short while. Back in June was when I started writing everyday for my various novels, after a month, I was a bit burned out and took a break. I then was back 3 weeks later and have been since then. Originally, it was more about testing my limits, and it turned into an habit, but I still think I should still stay within the bounds of being well enough to write quality chapters. Anyway, less than a month ago, I was g

If something in this world deserved to be called a monster, the gigantic pile of flesh currently going through Sydney was definitely the one. After all, it wasn't figuratively, but literally going through Sydney. Sydney wasn't the capital of Australia, but it was definitely its biggest city by population. A position that it would definitely lose to Melbourne after the current disaster striking it is finished. If it is ever finished, and if there is any way to compile the body count. Meanwhile, the prime offender was absorbing people at an extremely fast rate, as it was storming through the city. It was rolling through the city. Yes, rolling. Whatever it was, the collective entity quickly understood that rather than focusing on

  • Volume 10 - re:D.D. (18) - Warp Drive

When talking about such an elusive concept as a Warp Drive, there were multiple areas of expertise that needed to reach a certain level to develop one.Of course, science fiction, which was originally inspired by science, had now long turned around and influenced several generations of scientists and physicists. And so, a lot of people already worked on it. While saying it was your main domain of research would attract scornful glares, and some did attract such glares since 1994, but working on a few papers several times in your career wasn't a problem. In fact, the implications of warp drives on the current model of quantum physics made it a pretty interesting research subject for various specialties. And this was why, when in early 2021, a paper proposed a theoretical model for warp drive, it attracted a deep inte
