The race in the forest.
The forest in which the race was held was lush, with little space between the trees. The trails were narrow, and it looked like it had rained. Of course, it was artificial rain since it hadn't rained the day before. This place had been created especially for the occasion. This race felt like an obstacle course, and Fanel wondered what the real obstacle course would be like.

"They said the candidates can do whatever they want, the main thing is to cross the finish line in the top ten," Fanel thought to himself. He watched as the trees served as obstacles, throwing off the runners.

"As I thought, no surveillance cameras. They leave us to our own devices," Fanel observed, smiling. He took a high jump, finding himself on a tree branch. Below him, the runners he had slowed down began to catch up.

Sitting there, Fanel watched as each runner used trickery to hinder their competitors. "It's really unfortunate, humans are so self-centered," he remarked.
