Garrick looked at the empty space before him his face a mixture of wonder and caution. He seemed to realize that Lucas the person he once knew as inconspicuous had changed. Now Lucas radiated a vibrant and bold energy.
"Lucas what have you been eating?" Garrick taunted his tone dripping with sarcasm. But beneath this facade Garrick was calculating. He subtly signaled his two companions to flank Lucas his intentions clear: he wanted to quickly overpower and eliminate Lucas.
"What have I been eating? Definitely not your mother's cooking" Lucas replied his words laced with brazen confidence. Garrick's anger was palpable a vein throbbing visibly on his forehead.
Garrick's men now positioned on either side launched a swift ambush. But Lucas ever alert had anticipated the ruse. With a flick of his wrist he effortlessly knocked down the two attackers leaving Garrick in stunned disbelief.
Garrick felt as if he were caught in a maelstrom of chaos. In his mind Lucas had always been insignificant the lowest of the low. Yet there stood Lucas having easily dispatched two of Garrick's men with a simple graceful movement. How had the once insignificant Lucas become so formidable?
Event after event unfolded rapidly overwhelming Garrick's mind. He had always prided himself on his ability to handle any situation but now he found himself uncharacteristically insecure. As the young master of the Ironfist family he was used to being in control and having everything at his command. But to see Lucas a man whose family he had believed to be destroyed display such remarkable strength unsettled him deeply.
Trying to regain his composure Garrick shook his head vigorously an attempt to clear the turmoil of emotions swirling within him.
His gaze fixed intently on Lucas Garrick lowered the waniat from his shoulder his expression changing. The contempt that had once marked his features was gone replaced by a look of serious consideration as if he sensed something extraordinary about Lucas.
"Lucas have you repaired your qi core?" Garrick asked his voice tinged with disbelief as he blinked several times trying to adjust to this new reality.
The Lucas standing before him was transformed radiating Qi energy. Garrick realized that Lucas must have reached at least the early stages of the Primary Realm also known as the Initial Stage.
"Haha you're feeling confident because you've reached the initial stage of the Primary Realm?" Garrick taunted his face contorting in mockery. However Lucas remained undeterred calmly awaiting Garrick's next move.
Seizing the moment Garrick lunged forward with a sudden burst of speed his fist aimed squarely at Lucas' chest intent on proving his dominance.
Anyone familiar with the Ironfist family knew of their reputation for immense physical strength. Thus a direct hit from Garrick a prominent member of the family was widely considered a death wish.
But what happened next defied all expectations. It was a scene that would have stunned any onlooker even though there were only two others present - the shop owner and his daughter.
Lucas with an air of casual confidence effortlessly caught Garrick's punch with only one arm as if to downplay the threat. This result was perplexing; how could someone in the early stages of the realm withstand a blow from Garrick who was already at the advanced stage?
This anomaly would have baffled even the wisest sages of antiquity. Despite the apparent absurdity Lucas made it all seem plausible.
Garrick his face etched with shock withdrew his hand. He couldn't comprehend how his superior martial arts skills could be so easily matched by Lucas catching his punch with one hand.
"Lucas... you must have found a treasure right?" Garrick speculated jumping to the most logical conclusion in his mind. It seemed impossible for someone to gain such strength so quickly without some extraordinary means.
Lucas didn't say a word. Instead he lunged at Garrick with a swift movement. As Lucas moved his arms swung through the air and a mysterious green mist began to form around him signaling the beginning of an even more unexpected turn in their confrontation.
"Poison?" Garrick sneezed instinctively associating the green mist with poison. When he inhaled however he detected no trace of poison leaving him puzzled.
"What kind of technique is this?" Garrick muttered to himself perplexed. In all his years of martial arts experience he had never come across a technique that manifested as a green mist.
Before he could think further Lucas was on him. Caught off guard Garrick failed to dodge in time. Lucas struck him amidst the swirling green mist. The impact sent Garrick reeling backward his metal bracelet shattering as it absorbed part of the blow.
"Hey! I'm not done with you yet," Lucas shouted assertively.
With another gesture from Lucas the green mist began to dissipate. Garrick now slumped against a wall that bore the marks of the altercation looked up at Lucas with a mixture of shock and disbelief.
Meanwhile Garrick's instincts were screaming warning telling him that he was about to face the most terrifying experience of his life. That feeling intensified as Lucas approached his fingers outstretched menacingly. He resembled a bully ready to extract his victim's teeth with relentless punishing blows.
Walking with a piercing stare Lucas pulled at Garrick's hair with a firm grip. Garrick the son of the influential Ironfist family could only grimace in hate. "Lucas you don't... you don't want to insult my father do you?" said Garrick still using his father's powerful name. A sardonic smile crept across his face believing that invoking his family's name would protect him. The Ironfist family was indeed formidable wielding influence in the city comparable to that of the Stromwind family to which Lucas' wife Luna belonged. It was widely believed that provoking the scion of such a prominent family would have dire consequences. "Slap!" "Aghh!" Lucas slapped Garrick's cheek leaving the burly man staring back in disbelief. Lucas once considered weak and foolish now dared to challenge him. "Lucas!!!" Garrick shouted in anger only to receive another slap from Lucas. Both of Garrick's cheeks flushed his face etched with shock and disbelief. "There are some things I'm wondering about" Lu
The White Swan Pavilion a place many men dream of visiting was famous for its exquisite wine rumored to be so desirable that some would kill for the chance to taste it.Lucas approached the famous White Swan Pavilion with unsteady steps. His day had been eventful: he had taught Garrick a lesson placated the former owner and heroically saved the owner's daughter. It had been a true display of heroism and now Lucas was on his way to the second location the White Swan Pavilion. His stomach growled with increasing hunger; Lucas hadn't eaten since the wedding feast and the day's exertions had left him exhausted.Upon arriving at the White Swan Pavilion Lucas found the place sparse yet impressive with most of the exterior painted a pristine white. As he stood there people passed by including numerous women. One such woman playfully patted Lucas on the buttocks and blew him a kiss from a distance as she walked by. Her clothing was almost sheer adding an element of allure to the already vibra
Lucas arrived at the imposing gates of Stromwind Manor his in-laws' home. As he stepped forward to enter he was met with a challenge. The gate remained firmly closed and the guards inside could be heard chuckling seemingly mocking Lucas. They were aware of his lack of internal energy making it seem impossible for him to open such a massive door by sheer physical force."Young master if you want to come in come in. We're too lazy to open the door," sneered one of the guards drawing laughter from his colleagues.Despite being their young master and their master's son-in-law Lucas was treated disrespectfully by the guards. This blatant disrespect ignited a wave of anger in Lucas the veins in his neck bulging with rage."You guys!" he shouted.Taking a deep breath Lucas summoned his inner strength and focused it into his legs. A sense of overwhelming power filled him as if a reservoir of energy was ready to erupt."Bang! Booom!"With explosive force Lucas kicked open the gate creating a c
In the White Swan Pavilion many rooms were filled with the city's elite. Among them there was one particular booth that could be distinguished by its fragrant aroma. Inside was a man of considerable size around thirty years old with facial features reminiscent of a gorilla. Despite his unattractive appearance he was inexplicably surrounded by numerous young women. They were attracted not only by his scent which was extremely fragrant but also by their own allure - the beauty and charm they possessed the seductive perfumes they wore and the inviting softness of their skin.Life seemed almost idyllic for the man who seemed to have everything one could desire except for his unfortunate appearance. But the veneer of perfection was about to be shattered. Into this scene of indulgence and admiration was introduced a new element of discord. Garrick the man's younger brother arrived his face marred by bruises that hinted at trouble brewing beneath the surface of this seemingly perfect world.
Lucas was unexpectedly taken to an unknown location by his father-in-law.It seemed that there had been a serious misunderstanding. Lucas' father-in-law had assumed that Lucas was seeking revenge against those who had brought misfortune upon his family. In a setting decorated with purple flowers Eldrick faced Lucas with a blank expression. The air was rich with the scent of flowers. With a wink and a faint voice Eldrick revealed "I have kept a relic of your parents. This revelation took Lucas by surprise. After all he was merely a reincarnated soul inhabiting the body of the Lucas of this world sharing nothing but a name.Eldrick a middle-aged man moved toward a tree. He began to dig with such force that his finger piercing the earth sent dirt flying as if an electric drill were at work.As Lucas approached Eldrick unearthed an ancient-looking box decorated with a unique carving of a wolf."Their lineage is known as the Wolf Treads a prominent and extensive family," Lucas's father-in-
Luna was shy. She had harbored feelings for him since childhood but she had never been able to admit it to herself. Their worlds were very different: Luna belonged to a respected family while Lucas was considered an outcast with no family ties."Are you... are you okay?" Luna asked concern in her voice.Lucas nodded. He stood up his body still glistening with sweat. Sometimes he found it amusing to tease Luna just to see her reactions which he found endearing."What's the matter are you embarrassed to see your own husband's body?" Lucas teased a playful grin on his face. Luna immediately looked away. Her face was flushed even though she couldn't help but glance at Lucas whose physique had undergone a remarkable transformation.Lucas' physique had noticeably improved; he had achieved the ideal masculine form that many aspire to and in such a short time. Some might call it a 'shortcut' but for Lucas it was a necessary means to an end. Without that 'shortcut' he might not be alive today.
From afar Garrick was utterly astonished. He had never expected to witness such an incredible feat. Who could have imagined that someone could advance two levels in martial arts in a single day? It seemed more improbable than a dog giving birth to a buffalo."Damn it!" Garrick a large man with keen instincts leapt aside and sprinted with all his might."Abort the plan!" he shouted leading his troops in a hasty retreat. All but one whom Lucas had captured and whose legs had been crushed."Shit!" Garrick shouted but it was too late. A rock hurled through the air hit him in the back sending him tumbling to the ground.Meanwhile Lucas the one who had thrown the rock emerged from his cover. It appeared to be the end for Garrick as he lay vulnerable on the ground.Lucas who had quickly dispatched an attacker by breaking his neck lunged forward. His eyes locked with Garrick's again. They had met in a tavern the day before and now fate had brought them together again on this chaotic battlefie
Ironfist's family home was surrounded by an abundance of rocks adding to its grandeur. This large house was inhabited by muscular men giving it a reputation as a haven for those obsessed with physical strength. In a quiet corner of the estate was a small garden where a man sat in meditation seemingly drawing energy from his surroundings. His tranquility was interrupted by the sound of approaching footsteps causing him to open his eyes. The man was Lorrick the eldest son of the Ironfist family.Lorrick's expression turned to one of displeasure as he raised an eyebrow a clear sign that the news he had just received was unwelcome. In a display of his unique skill Lorrick casually picked up a marble and threw it into the garden. The marble spun rapidly like a drill causing the earth to erupt in a spray of dirt."You said Garrick hasn't returned yet?" Lorrick asked concern in his voice. He had sent his younger brother Garrick to capture someone named Lucas but neither Garrick nor the soldi
