Isabelle got more queries from her parents when her father returned. And all pointed at how disappointed they were in her and how she had managed to scare a future suitor and great business partners away.

They even went as far as suggesting that she goes to them and apologise or report herself to the police before they do it themselves. Isabelle tried as much as possible to explain that she is the victim in this situation and that she was assaulted.

But what Charles had already told her parents was a different thing, according to them, Charles said he saw her walking on the road and then she was about to be attacked by some thugs but he was quick to save her but because of her hatred for Charles she struggled and ended up stabbing his arm.

Isabelle did not have any proof to defend herself but Charles had a point because everybody knew how much Isabelle despised Charles. So hearing him say that they immediately believed and Charles was in no way a rapist!
