Isabelle wakes up to her fingers feeling numb. She tries to stretch her arms when she discovers that she had been bound by a rope tied firmly at her wrist, reducing blood flow to her fingers, hence causing the numb feeling.

She tries to take in her environment but when she opens her eyes she is hit by a strong headache that causes her to wince and squint from the pain.
