Miranda was worried as the paced round the room, she had just gotten a call from Charles that Sebastien found his location and beat him up. Charles also threatened to expose Miranda's acts to the general public.

Miranda was worried because the public will believe Charles's words and that will taint the image of her and the Wilson's family too. She began thinking of what to do because she couldn't imagine the disgrace she would face if news got out about her deeds.

Miranda shook her head in regret as she thought about how Violet turned her back against her at the last moment. She never expected it but she can't deny that she saw the warning signs, because she did. From the way Violet was acting hesitant, she should have suspected something like this could happen.
