Chapter1 The Aura

   The aura

In a cheery sitting room that had been painted white, gleaming wooden pieces of furniture that decorated the room could be seen. However, in the midst of the incredible sight, there were also displays of a rather gruesome scene: the floor was covered in red stains of blood.

The source of the blood was a tall and stocky young man wearing a hockey jacket. The youth's face was disfigured and broken, and it continuously leaked blood. His face was swollen like a watermelon, all of his front teeth were knocked out of his mouth, his nose was split in half, his head was painted red, and it had many unsightly holes on it. His barely visible eyes were bloody and filled with nothing but pure terror. What the devil could have happened to that man's face? What was it that caused him to have that expression?

Unfortunately, due to the fact that everyone around him appeared to be busy, no one took the time to worry about him.

In front of the young man with the deformed face were two other people: a handsome youth with long black hair, cold eyes glimpsing with pure ruthlessness, his entire face was expressionless as he held a terrified middle-aged woman by her neck and stretched her neck while pointing the sharp edges of a knife at it; Both of them were facing away from the young man with a deformed face.

"You scumbag, give up your hold on her!" These words were being shouted by a tall and hefty middle-aged man dressed in black who bore a resemblance to the face deformed youth who was wearing a hockey jacket.

This man was standing at the entrance of the sitting room and pointing a rifle at the cold-looking youth while he did so. This all took place right in front of the middle-aged woman and the cold-looking youth.

"I'm sorry, but I just won't be able to. If you are a decent husband, you will step aside and allow us to leave this area if you do not otherwise know what is best for your wife. I sware that I was going to jab her in the neck!"The icy young man came back with an expression that was shockingly unruffled and was enough to scare anyone.

"You wouldn't dream of doing that to your aunt, would you?" The man of middle age spoke those words in total disbelief.

"Is that how you feel about it?" The unfeeling young man had a sinister grin in response and then stabbed the middle-aged woman on her lap, which caused a stream of blood to shoot out of her body. She screened in agony, but this served only to bring a grin to the face of the icy youth.

"You bastard!, I'll murder you!" Before the icy youth could retrieve the knife and point it once more at her neck, the man growl in rage and cracked his gun. He was about to shoot the youth, but before he could do so, the man......

Before I continue, I want to take you all the way back to the beginning of all this insanity...

A couple of hours before the event took place, a shivering and frail-looking guy was found lying inert and covered in his own blood in a green field directly in front of a large building with three levels that housed a high school.

In front of him stood a young man who was tall and stocky and wore a hockey jacket, along with some other young people who stood behind him and were the ones responsible for his injuries. They pissed on his body. The odd thing was that everyone in the vicinity either chuckled at the pitiful image or displayed a look of awe at it.

Lionel, a young man whose life took a tragic turn when he lost both of his parents in a plane crash, is inconsolable in his grief. Lionel is a victim of bad luck. After his wicked relatives took control of the house and distributed the family's fortune amongst themselves, he began a downward spiral that would eventually lead him to hell.

When he was at home, he didn't get much of anything to eat, he didn't get much medical treatment when he was sick, and he was always forced to do all the home chores no matter what the circumstances were. If he failed to do so on his part, he would be tortured by the enforcers, which were his uncle's wives, who would starve him and beat the shit out of him every time, in addition to calling him a worthless piece of trash.

His cousins made sure that he did not have good times, they'll always find ways to bully him, brutalizing or making him the joke of the school mostly by pulling nasty pranks at him.

He was being tormented at home and in school by his uncle's wife, who was his aunt. His cousins made sure that he did not have good times in school. On top of that, no one in the community or the school was willing to assist him because they were either coerced into it by his infamous uncles or bought off with money.

As a consequence of this, he was shunned by everyone and led a life that was miserable and lonely. He had no friends, no family, and no relationships of any kind.

What took place with him on this particular day is illustrative of the struggles he had faced for the previous fifty years of his life. The person who picks on him the most at school is his cousin Arnold, who is a stocky guy who wears a hockey jacket. Arnold is the one who took the initiative to pass judgment on him.

However, Leonel is not the same person he was yesterday, and this difference is likely to cause a significant shift in the trajectory of the rest of his life.

Lionel lifted his damaged body off the ground as the onlookers jeered at him from a distance. He started walking in the direction of the school's main entrance. Everywhere he went waves of laughter and words of mockery from the past resonated sonorously in his ears.

“Hahahah!”

"Hahaha, he's just a loser."

"Hah, this time he suffered a bit though, but just in comparison to a worthless piece of shit like him," a girl said. That ought to be par for the course, lol"

His fists were clenched as a result of the anger and helplessness he felt. He wanted to yell out to the crowd that he wasn't a loser and that they were all the losers for adding salt to his wounds, but he couldn't because he knew that saying this would only invite more trouble in his head. His hands were clenched.

Lionel decided that he had had enough of his dismal existence. He was sick of leading such a pointless life, one in which he had no voice and the only thing he could do was wallow in despair. He was exhausted. Then, in an effort to put an end to everything, he stole his heart and scrambled between the stirrers, continuing his forward movement without stopping until he reached the roof of the structure.

"I can't take this life any longer!"

Lionel let out a yell the minute he reached the highest point of the structure, drawing the attention of those in the crowd to his outburst.

The commotion that ensued among the throng was only brief. Various individuals then started making observations about what was taking place.

"Who is that?" Someone asked with a curious expression on her face as she searched the roof for the person who had been speaking.

Another individual suddenly yelled out while pointing up at the top of the structure, "Look up there, it's the loser."

Everyone followed his hand in the direction it was pointing, and they all saw a guy atop the storey building who was attempting to take his own life.

"What the heck is that useless piece of shite doing up there?" the another speaker demanded.

Someone appeared to be perplexed. "I do not fully comprehend the current predicament, what the hell is going on here."

"Is he going to end his life by taking his own life?" A gentle-hearted young woman was overcome with fear.

"For a loser like him, I believe that this should not come as a surprise." Another guy declared, without any sense of shame or guilt. "he's finally tired of his horrible life."

"How can you argue that, if this leads to his death, wouldn't we all be implicated when the police arrive to investigate?" Someone stumbled over their words.

Arnold made a bold announcement just as the crowd was beginning to get anxious. He then began to move towards the building while casting a glance in the direction of Leonel, who was still inside the building. "Everyone, you can be sure that there is no need to worry about him taking his own life. He is the definition of a coward. I have watched him attempt this a number of times, but he always ends up giving up."

After hearing Arnold's address, there was no doubt that the throng would show up.

"What a worthless piece of garbage you are, Leonel junior!, Come down from that building immediately or you're going to get what's coming to you, believe me!" Arnold yelled at Lionel to get his attention.

Lionel, who was inside the building, had a chill down his spine when the voice penetrated his ears. Confusion and frustration overtook him for a little moment.

But when he recalled everything that he had gone through, including the anguish that he had always wanted to end, he once more steeled his mind; he stopped thinking about everything, and at this precise moment, all he wanted was for it to finish, so that he could put an end to all of the sufferings for good.

"Hay, you coward, you don't have the intestinal fortitude to..." Arnold was about to explode, but his outburst was abruptly cut off as he stared at the spectacle in front of him with wide-eyed surprise, his mouth gaping open, and his eyes flashing in bewilderment. A reflection of a person being falling from the tall story building could be seen on his brows.

As Lionel fell toward the ground, he could not help but let out a sigh of relief. As he fell, he stole a glimpse up at the overcast sky and then angled at the brilliant sun that illuminated the entire world. It was a breathtaking scene to behold. The final thing that he thinks he will witness before he passes away.

Lionel was glad that he had finally worked up the courage to carry out the deed, but at the same time, his mind was taken over by the trauma, and he was overcome with the terror of passing away. The regularity of his heartbeats increased, and his blood pressure skyrocketed to an all-time high.

Was this the way it was going to turn out for him?

“Bang!”

When he slammed his body against the rough terrain of the ground, he was immediately overcome with excruciating pain. The entirety of his skeletal system was shattered, and a great number of his body's organs on the inside sustained damage as well. However, the ruptures that occurred in his blood vessels were the worst of his injuries. As if it were a water spray, his blood splattered all over the surroundings.

A great number of people in the throng shrieked in alarm when they were hit by the splashes.

The hazy image of the sky remained in his vision for three seconds, and the sounds of the panicking crowd filled his ears. However, all of that gradually faded away, and soon after, void and darkness took over.

Strangely, he saw himself in a pitch-black area, devoid of any kind of life, devoid of any feelings, devoid of taste, devoid of scent, devoid of anything and everything.

No matter how hard he tried to move while in this empty space that seemed to be hiding something, he was unable to. Even the sensations of his own body eluded him. It was as if he were a prisoner who was locked inside of an empty husk, and the husk was his body, while he was a soul that was stuck inside of the husk.

He stayed like this for a very long time, imprisoned, numb, and motionless until, for the first time, he sensed something, something that all of his beings was drawn to. After that, he was able to move and feel things again.

He was aware that his body was inching its way closer to the presence. It was as if he was floating on an ocean, and the waves of the ocean were directing his movement towards a specific area, which was the source of the attraction.

His physical form inched its way toward the presence in the room gradually. After an undetermined amount of time, the view of the area around him eventually shifted. He found himself in an illusion that consisted of more than fifty monuments firmly planted in the ground.

This peculiar deceptive location appeared to be a graveyard, with each tombstone standing in for the resting place of a notable individual.

..

As he moved closer and closer to the present, he was finally able to see what it was that was drawing him in: a hazy cloud of foreign energy that was twirling beneath a dark skeletal mounting in the middle of the graves.

  "Chaos aura"

When he focused his attention on the minuscule wisp that was about the size of his palm, a word suddenly appeared in his head for no apparent reason.

Suddenly, he found himself standing in front of the aura, and he had no idea how or when he got there. His hands, which were no longer under his control, reached out and grabbed the aura.

After he came into contact with the aura, it vanished inside his body as quickly as a liquid would after being stirred. Shortly after a series of confusing images appeared in front of his eyes, his entire existence, down to the most fundamental level of his being, began to violently tremble.

One of the many scenes reflected in the stream's fragments was particularly traumatic for him, and it is one that he will never be able to forget. However, he was only able to make sense of a single scene's representation in the stream's fragments. It will be deeply ingrained in his memory right up until the moment that he passes away for good.

He was suddenly pulled into the very scene; he was in a snow-white atmosphere that was glazed with the colour of blood spraying in the air, and blood dripping from millions of deformed, nonintact see of corpses that littered the ground all over; no matter which angle he looked, the color red and corpses were all that he could see.

When he peered down, he noticed a horrible hole in his abdomen that was dangerously close to severing him in two. A blood-red spear coated in a shadowy destructive force that projected from his back to his front could be seen in the midst of the wound.

The person who committed the assault was hiding behind him. He turned his head to peer at the person in front of him, and then he saw the despicable betrayer, the nasty face that was hidden with a joking smile. In some way that he can not understand, he is aware of how everything in this location came to be.

He who was known as Overlord Gore, the Hegemony of the Chaos Realm, and he waged war on this realm, wanting to conquer it, but he fell for the schemes of this traitor, which led to his downfall. This traitor was responsible for his death.

A voice was yelling from deep within him, filled with rage and a refusal to accept this faith in its current form. His irate yell ripped through the air like the howl of a wild animal. "Othesis!, you traitor, you may drown yourself in the river of fulfilment, but a retribution you shall face in the near future, I shall come back for you, I will not rest until I get my revenge, and even if you hide in the depths of hell, I will come after you like the spirit of revenge. I shall come back for you."

The traitor let out a peal of hysterical laughter that sounded like a horse laughing. "Gore, you have no understanding of what you are telling. Please stop talking nonsense. Can't you see that you're going to die? Even though I have already prevailed, you insist on seeking retribution. Are you attempting to go against the rules that govern the primary universe? Who are you to make such a presumptuous assertion?"

"I AM... GORE, THE OVERLORD OF THE CHAOS WORLD!!! "

Gore yelled with every inch of might he could summon, using every part of his body, every molecule, and every strand of his essence.

It was also at this time that Lionel Grieves, who had been unconscious for some time, suddenly opened his eyes and looked out at the world, taking in all of its wondrous sights. At that moment, the entire sky was fractured like a mirror.
