As the weight of the Sinclair project settled over the conversation on the porch of the Harrington mansion, Alex couldn't help but express his reservations.

"But you know my history with that family. Why bring me on board? Are you trying to cause a problem?" Alex questioned, a mix of skepticism and concern in his voice.
