Mama Christina's gaze shifted from Isabella to her departing uncle. "You're here, Isabella."

Isabella nodded, a mixture of concern and curiosity in her eyes. "Yes, Mama. I heard the commotion and wanted to make sure everything's okay."

Her uncle, clearly eager to distance himself from the brewing tension, interjected, "I think I'll take my leave now, Mum."

Mama Christina, however, was quick to halt his exit. "This meeting involves you."

He sighed, frustration evident in his tone. "I don't know what involves me anymore, Mum. I have to get home. My wife is waiting for me." With that, he turned on his heel and left, the door closing behind him with a decisive click.

Isabella with a lingering sense of unease in the air. "What was that all about, Mama?"

Mama Christina, her expression stern, replied, "That is none of your concern. Please sit down."

Isabella complied, her curiosity piqued. "So, are you ready to discuss the statements now?"

Mama Christina raised an eyebrow, studying Isabella
