Chapter 24

"Zweta! Zweta!"

The heat of the burn on his back was so intense, Zidane couldn't even stand up. He screamed the name of Zweta, the little girl who accompanied him.

He crawled out and was lucky that the burst of fire from the purple dragon no longer hit him. His left hand continued to hold the blue plant he had gotten. The blue plant continued to glow even under the sunlight.

"Oh no! Is it a bear, or a lion?" asked Zweta in panic. She helped Zidane up.

"No, both Zweta. Purple dragon. Purple dragon burst. He's really good, I had my armor on, but the blast was able to hit my body. It feels like it's burning. Don't you feel it, I'm so hot?"

"Yes, you're as hot as a fever. Come on, get on the horse and let's go home!"

"No, no!"

"Why, come on!" Zweta asked again.

"I can't stand it anymore. You'd better bring this blue plant to Lea. Leave me here. If we both ride horses, the horses will be slower to get home. That means Lea could get critical and lose her life, just you. If the load is lig
