CHAPTER 108

ONCE I LEAVE HERE

George was in his bedroom, sitting on the edge of his bed, leaning against the wall, and smoking a cigarette.

He had an ashtray in front of him and several lots of cigarette butt's in it.

There was a big bottle of Heineken on the floor, emptied.

A stack of papers were on the table that were waiting to be attended to, but none of them were opened.

Ever since George returned from the burial of his father, he had not been himself.

He had resorted to smoking packs of cigarettes and taking at least a bottle of Heineken daily.

Tracy had been worried and tried to talk him into stopping, although it was only about a day now.

George had lost touch with the world and was now behaving somehow abnormally; at least, that is what everyone thought

George was taking puffs from his cigarette with a smile on his face.

As he sat ‘enjoying’ his smoke, Tracy walked into the room..

She nearly choked from the smell in the room but quickly comported herself and walked in.
