CHAPTER 113

THE CHANGE IN COUNTENANCE

The next morning, Jack's Mansion.

Jack and Jane were having their breakfast.

They were getting ready to go to the court to witness the proceedings and judgment of the mayor.

They had had a late breakfast because the time to appear in court was a bit farther away than the normal time Jane was supposed to report to work.

At the table, Jane and Jack were discussing what was really going to happen in the courtroom.

Jane was a bit nervous that something bad was going to happen, but Jack was certain that it was not going to happen.

“ How many years do you think he is going to be served?” Jane asked Jack.

“I don't really know that much about law but from the recent news they made about his charges, he had seventeen charges and he was likely to be jailed for a minimum of fifty five years, and now there are two more charges, that means he could go for a minimum of more than sixty years” Jack replied.
