CHAPTER 166

THE UNKNOWN STRANGER

Jack did not have time to react.

He stood up slowly, and judging from what had happened, he could see all the five men armed to the teeth.

They pointed to the door, obviously asking him to walk out of the room.

Jack obliged, even though a lot was going on in his mind at that moment.

He wondered why he had not heard any noise at all until the group came in and why his security man had not alerted him.

Jack walked outside slowly following the men’s command.

He got outside and saw his security man sitting on a chair at his post, deep in slumber.

Jack figured out he might have been drugged to remain that way without hearing what was going on.

Jack saw a van in the compound with the engine still running and the driver still behind the wheels. Two more men were standing outside with guns, and they quickly held him and threw him into the car.

All the other men got in the van, too.

Everything happened so fast.

Jack could not understand what was going on.
