CHAPTER 183

CRIMINAL ON THE LOOSE

Jack and Newman drove for thirty minutes to Jack’s apartment.

Jack intentionally made Newman drive past the house a few meters before pulling over by the roadside at a safe spot.

They both got down from the car and secured it, walking back to the car with all alertness.

Jack immediately noticed that the main gate had been tampered with, and he pointed it out to Newman.

They both walked inside the compound and saw the floor was stained with the colors of screeched tires.

The duo walked into the house and began searching for clues.

After about five minutes of searching the entire house, they both concluded with all observations that it was obvious that Alfred and his men had raided the house the previous night.

Jack finally led Newman and they entered the small control room meant to harbour all of the CCTV controls and database.

They both sat down and Jack began rewinding the CCTV footage of the previous evening.

They finally got to the part they were expecting.
