CHAPTER 191

THE STARTLED TRIO

Jack followed Newman as they walked into the inner room.

They tiptoed slowly as they made their way to the first door in the room.

Voices could be heard in the room as the trio enjoyed their breakfast.

Newman turned around and pointed at the smoke releaser on Jack's belt.

Jack understood the assignment at once and took it out. He handed it over to Newman, but to his surprise, Newman did not throw it nor activate it, instead, he buckled it on his belt.

“ Guys, we have twenty-five minutes on the clock.” Max's voice came in on the line.

“Okay, Roger that” Emry was also heard on the line.

Neither Jack nor Newman spoke.

Newman turned and whispered at Jack.

“ Masks on now. We barge in the room on three. My count” Newman said and turned again, facing the door.

He raised three fingers in the air, reduced to two, and then one.
