CHAPTER 7

A NEW TRILLIONIARE HAS BEEN MADE

Jack walked into his new house.

He looked around him with a smile on his face.

The people he hired had arranged the place neatly and beautifully.

He heaved a sigh.

Just about three days ago, he was sleeping in a hostel where he never thought he would ever sleep.

Now, he was living his own life of luxury.

He sat down in the living room and switched on his macbook.

He went ahead to check his emails and realized he had a couple of important messages.

First, he had an email from the certification office that his application had been approved and his company certificate had been tendered.

He had been sent the certificate.

He heaved a heavy sigh of relief upon reading the message.

He quickly downloaded the certificate and proceeded to the site where he had bookmarked some oil mining sites.

He began interacting with owners of the fields to purchase the fields.

He created a business email and a website for the company, and then he knew he was ready

Jack knew that he company was now fully set. He only needed some permanent workers.

He logged onto LinkedIn and uploaded the vacancy spots.

He needed all kinds of workers that were related to his field of work.

He enlisted job vacancies such as engineers, surveyors, drillers, mechanics, electricians, cleaners, drivers, receptionists, and a secretary.

After completion, he began his work on scouting for the equipment he was going to use for the work.

He knew those things needed a whole lot of machines for the work, and those machines cost millions of dollars.

He was ever ready and in for it.

Next, he purchased the warehouse where he was going to keep all his machines and equipment

Jack had a lot of knowledge in the field such that he could operate all the vehicles and most of the equipment.

He went ahead to book the equipment.

After summing up all his work, he began calculating the amount of money he was going to spend on all the things he was trying to purchase.

After the summing up, he realized he needed about four billion dollars to be able to achieve that.

He let out a smile and looked at his mobile phone.

He was now ready to move.

His company was soon going to be known by everybody.

He left his machine and went to have his bed, then he retired to bed

As he lay in his bed, he picked up his phone and began playing the game for the night

As he felt his eyes weakening for the stress he had been through that day, he gave up and dropped his phone as he retired to bed, with a smile on his face as he wandered in to dreamland

Jack woke up the next morning as the sun rays hit his room.

He stretched lazily and finally stood up from   the bed.

After ten minutes, he was all set as he came back to sit behind his laptop

He realized he had a lot of job applications from LinkedIn all ready to accept the job offers he has placed on the platform.

He knew that they were too much that he could barely employ them all, so automatically, he needed to conduct an interview to select the best ones.

However, he knew he first had to employ a receptionist and a secretary, who could handle the applicants when they came over to his office, while he did the various Interviews.

He went ahead and did an online interview for the five applicants who were in for the position of the receptionist and the three people who were in for the post of a secretary.

At the end of the interview, he chose one from each side.

Then, he scheduled the interviews of the applicants for the interviews later.

After he was done with the interviews, he heard his stomach rumble.

He knew he had to eat something, but as he viewed his time, it was already midday.

He was quite surprised as to how the time had moved really fast.

He left home and went over to a restaurant to have lunch.

Thirty minutes after Jack had his lunch, he was in a car garage, asking for the price for a Toyota hilux.

He had always been a fan of pickup cars.

He believed that that car was the perfect option for businessmen, and as a businessman as he was, that was his option.

He was in the restaurant enjoying his lunch when it occurred to him that he needed to have a car of his own so that he could easily commute around, between his workplace, his mining sites, his customers and then his house.

He had not thought about that in the first place but it was not a problem for him since he already had the money   he could   use to  buy it without any  problem.

He drove home in style.

As he alighted in his new car and parked in front of his house, he stood beside the car and smiled.

He took out his new phone and took a picture of himself and his properties with a huge smile.

A NEW TRILLIONAIRE HAS BEEN MADE.

*******

Apart from the fact that Jack was a chartered accountant and an IT technician, he also had knowledge in the oil mining business.

He had been following his father and most of the workers in the mining sites that he knew almost everything about it.

He could operate most of the heavy machines that were used during the process.

He could run some little research on the oil and a whole lot more.

His intelligence and smartness coupled with  his  eagerness to  learn made it easy to get that all at once, although he had not been doing the work for long.

He also had all the knowledge he needed to know about operating the cement factory.

He was a master of that as well and acted as an expert, although he had no formal education about that profession either.

He had a better idea about the whole work than his cousin.

And he was sure that the two businesses were not going to survive under his ( his cousin's) governance.
