CHAPTER SIXTY FOUR

Doctor Rasher turned around towards the young man with a curious look in his eyes. Could it be that this young man would be able to help?

"What a fool. Didn't he see that the mayor's daughter was mourning and he still has the guts to say such a word." The crowd yelled insults at him...

"At this point, I feel that he is the most useless person that the world has produced."

"Just another waste. A protection would have prevented this."

While the crowd continued to run insults at him nonstop, Rasher walked gradually toward his direction. Placing his hands on his shoulders when he eventually got to the point that he was sitting.

He waved his hands and there was a sudden silence in the hall in an instant.

"What were you saying?" He inquired once again.

Xander didn't feel like he was obliged to give a response, not after the way that he had been treated.

If the mayor was to die now, his blood would be off his hands since he had offered to help but they had decided to push him aside.
