CHAPTER SIXTY ONE

None of them dared to speak. Jane stared at the paper that was below her before looking back up in his direction.

Her blood was boiling as she stared at the crowd for one last time before shifting her gaze back to the paper.

She was weak from the inside and to the surprise of everyone that was gathered, she walked towards it and picked it up from the floor.

"I have gotten it." There was a calm expression on her face as she spoke further.

"That's great. Then you should get those things for me." He said with a glare.

Without much hesitation, she was already off from the place to get the things that he had drafted out.

At the moment, the hall was as silent as a graveyard, and no one had spoken for quite a while.

The guard soon went ahead to provide a seat for him as soon as possible while he continued to wait.

Soon, Jane was seen fleeing into the hall. Xander didn't need most of the things that were there but knew that they were going to be very difficult to get.
